brilliant fast charge
excellent product at a great price, it is small and efficient. it will detect the type and voltage of the battery to provide the correct charging current and method. once the battery is full it goes into standby mode and acts as a trickle charger to prolong the life of a battery through long periods of inactive use. its a little noisy but this isnt a problem as it lives in the garage where only the mice can hear it! the led display is really bright and useful, it has charging voltage and amperage, the temperature and battery charge indicator. if i needed more of these then i would definately purchase again but i wager this will last for years and years.

Best £20 I've spent in a while! Fixed my start/stop Issue.
Due to my job there can be extended periods where my car doesn't get used very much and may only do a short journey or so per week for months on end. With modern cars that "wake up" every now and again to check systems and can potentially still keep a connection to the key when it's inside make the problem worse. All of this takes it's toll on the battery and eventually kills it. My last car went through 2 batteries (luckily all changed on warranty). So, about 8 months ago the stop/start system started failing to engage on my new car, which is the ominous sign of impending doom for the battery (I'd already done fault diagnosis on it to know it was the battery causing the issue). But instead of going to get it changed this time I thought I'd give a battery conditioner a go in the hope of ending this issue once and for all. It would also allow me to help keep the battery topped off when it see's little use helping to prevent the issue in the first place. Didn't expect much for £20 but got it all plugged in a working. left it running on "repair" mode for about 5 hours and took the car for a drive. Still no start/stop, so assumed the battery may be too far gone. The next day I hooked it up again and left it for another 4-5 hours. Wallah!!! start/stop back on line!! I'm going to keep going with it as bringing a battery back to capacity can take weeks. brilliant little thing and dead easy to use.

Good charger but won’t restore / recharge a 12v AGM battery drained down to 8v
This is an update to my previous 1 star review. The charger works great as long as the battery has not been completely discharged. When you connect the charger to the battery it gives a voltage reading then you turn the power on and it charges the battery. I was not aware when purchasing this item that the battery must have a minimum voltage for the charger to work. I don’t know what the minimum voltage is and haven’t found it stated in the instructions. Here’s my previous 1 star review: The charger would not work when connected to the battery. I have read all of the instruction book but can’t see any explanation. When I connect the battery the charger continues to beep. I would be grateful for any explanation.

10Amp Car Battery Charger, 12V/24V Automatic Battery Charger with 7-Stage Charging
I had no idea until I was researching what I needed that modern car batteries require specific smart chargers. This one, after considerable research, is appropriate for the needs of my current car battery. It is very easy to use, the instructions are good, albeit they are quite small to read but I scanned them and converted to PDF so that I could blow them up, the only thing to remember is to set the required settings before plugging into the mains. Once this is connected to the battery you can setup the type of charge you need as the battery gives life to the charger, however, once the mains is plugged in you cannot change the settings. This does a fantastic job in charging the car battery, it can be used for other types too but I've bought this and only used this for the car. It seems to be of good quality, albeit, that I've never heard of the make. Good value for money.

Great little charger
Great charger , I've had this several months now and used it quite a lot on car and bike batteries and it works very well.

Last resort charger.
Having had my classic car in storage in my garage over winter I went to do a startup the battery was absolutely flat tried using a power pack and jump leads to try and start it. Tried using a battery conditioner, absolutely nothing. Started considering a new battery this battery was less than 12 months old. Bought this charger on a last resort basis. Put it on an overnight charge imagine my suprise when I checked it next morning the battery is fully charged. The car started first crank. Would fully recommend this charger as a very useful little unit to keep. And the price is excellent. Fully recommend.

Brilliant product
I went out to my car which had been stood for some time as its only used in good weather and found the battery flat completely dead flat and showing 9 volts . I put my old charger on it and gave it a charge and it was flat again after a couple of days. I was set to but another battery but decided I would try a new charger with a conditioning function . So I bought this charger and run it onto the car battery and let it do its thing for 24 hrs on the condition cycle . The battery is like a new one and has not needed charging since it did a really good job of bringing my 56ah battery back to life and also did my golf cart gel battery as well those two battery's being revived means it has paid for itself x2 already you can't go wrong with it . Only issues are the instructions are a little poor and could be better but its easy enough to work out orher than that it's great

Good charger but does not perform miracles
It is a decent charger but would be better if the instructions were written by someone with better English skills. The 10amp rating means it is better for fairly large batteries. To charge thoroughly, I find a low current commensurate with the battery capacity is better but the charger does have a few charge modes. I have found that it charges fairly discharged batteries well enough and it is worth it for that. The only downside is that it is simply a pulse charger in recovery mode. It is not a high frequency pulse charger (see screenshot of oscilloscope for proof). I don't know if high frequency pulse is more effective and if so, if it is better for wet, EFB or AGM types. I tried to recover an AGM battery from 4.5 volts. My Lidl (Ultimate Speed) charger really didn't help at all despite connecting the battery in parallel to another battery to initiate charging but this charger did improve on that. After a few hours on pulse setting, the battery recovered to 12.6 volts but couldn't even deliver 1 amp current (with accompanied voltage drop). The battery in question had probably sat severely discharged for 1 year so it was an unrealistic big ask. For batteries which have been discharged for days or a week or two, it seems to work well enough though. Despite it saying do not charge batteries connected to vehicle, loads of other chargers can do this and I don't see why this one can't. It is probably just a safety disclaimer.
