I can say enough positive things about this product. It is excellent quality. Was a bit of a tight fit on my door but once I got it in place it is perfect. I installed it on the track with the screen. Pictured with the glass door partially open and with the door closed inside. My Yorkie is a little intimidated by it will get used to in in no time. Highly recommend for anyone with a balcony or secured space where your dog can access.

Ok. This is by far the best thing I could have bought for my dogs. Great quality, durable and keeps the outside air and bugs out. Took about 30 minutes to install but with a little visual YouTube video made the process smooth. I did have to get a weatherstrip to add between my sliding door and Petsafe based on other reviews so I was prepared. Easy. The doggy door stays put, and my dogs definitely putting it to the test running in and out like crazy. It’s been a recommendation for sure. I love it.

So I read the reviews before purchasing ours, and I too did not completely install the door like a few folks have mentioned. It is on a sliding that leads into a screened in patio, and depending on the weather this coming winter, I liked having the option just to remove it quickly. In doing so, installation was a breeze, plus it came with two different types of weather strips, which we utilized both, and that will definitely be helpful. If it was leading to a complete outside, not covered area, we would have installed it properly for security reasons. Now the cat on the other-hand :( we are still working on. He likes to wait by it and have you hold the flap open so he can enter/exit without having to push on the flap as he goes on to the "catio".

My cat and I are happy with the door. To get it to bond with the new patio doors, lots of fiddling required, including removal of lock on the door, and a bundle of weather stripping. But it works! Overall very happy with the results.
