Roasted sesame oil is popular in Japan. It adds flavor to a variety of dishes, either by adding it before cooking or by drizzling on a salad or cooked dish for extra flavoring. Kadoya brand is well established in Japan and seems to be trying to expand in Asian-American grocery stores in the USA now. Hopefully Amazon can provide a variety of their products.

Can't complain about it's appearance tbh, as it has a nice color to it. had no leaks, so that's good, as it has a seal in place, which you gotta tear off within the interior of the bottle. this is not olive oil, idk why amazon is asking me to review this part. Can't comment about freshness, as this is my first time trying sesame oil, so i got nothing to compare it to so commenting on how fresh or not this product would be unfair to it, sorry. Pretty sure it's very versatile as far as cooking ability, but for my uses which is marinades, that's only what i can comment on, using about 3-4 oz is plenty for me, as anything more than this gives it too much of a toasted coffee flavor profile.

Disappointed that isn't a plastic bottle. Why put a high quality product in a bottle that leeches into it?

Yummy taste of sesame oil to enhance cooking. I use it in my ramen soup for more flavor.

This is my third time buying the product, and will be buying it again. I use it on my white rice, sushi bowls, etc. Good flavor.
