Stay-in-Bed Clock for Kids - Toddler Sleep Trainer, Night Light & Alarm

I make it a point to read the bad reviews before buying anything to try and get the whole picture. I almost didn't buy this based on some of the poor reviews but thought I would give it a shot and am glad I did. Some of the negative reviews are a bit odd on this. For one, I have never seen a more clear and yet very concise instruction booklet (with pictures i might add). Instructions are crystal clear and even include shortcuts for some of the programming. There is a way to turn off the alarm, which is also clearly outlined in the instruction book. There is a way to swap from 12 hour and 24 hour time, 3 light dimming modes which are great, and the book clearly says if you set the stay in bed time for a time before the current time (i.e. 7:00 PM but it's 7:15 PM), the red light won't come on until the next night. Perhaps they've recently updated the instructions, I'm not sure. The numbers are clear and not difficult to read unless you are looking down from above the clock at an angle, which is true of most digital clocks I have seen, so not something unexpected for a digital clock display). I have had this for a week and it has worked perfectly so far. Bonus which I didn't realize is the light part is also a nightlight, only if you want, which you can program for a specific period of time and turn off and on simply by pushing the top. So if it's go to sleep time and you push the nightlight button, a soft white light shows for whatever period of time you set (say 30 minutes). After the time is up, the light will go back to whatever color it's supposed to be then (i.e. red). Anyway, this has exactly the functionality described, is easy to use, my son loves it, I love it, and so far nothing has broken and it seems well made. Only suggestions for buyers: read the description, and then if you buy it, read the instructions. Enjoy your sleep!

This clock is easy to program and works well.

I purchased this clock for my 4 year old son who was waking up WAY too early in the morning. This clock isn’t intuitive to set up at all — you really need to consult the manual to go through the settings. With the manual it isn’t too difficult. I did knock a star off because if the clock is unplugged, everything gets reset. You can put in a battery, but the clock does not come with the battery installed. Overall the clock works as expected and my son understands that he has to wait until the light turns green and he can leave his room.

Great clock with all the features we were looking for. We keep it on the dimmest setting to not be too bright. Easy to set green and red times. Love the quick access to the nap timer and being able to childlock the settings. When we had trouble with the power cord working after only a few months, customer service was absolutely wonderful and sent us a replacement cord within a week for free!

User friendly and is a great tool for keeping my toddler in bed until it’s time to actually get up! Plus she likes it!

I love this. It's so customizable. You can adjust the sleep time, wake time, sound level or no sound at all, brightness, and many more features. It even has a nap time mode. About one year after purchase, the cord stopped working. I reached out and they immediately shipped me a new cord for free and it's working now. Great customer service.

This thing has saved our marriage. My husband set it up for our three year old and we played the game, stayed in bed until the light turned then hopped up and came out of the room etc. my son was coming in and waking us up every morning at 4:30/5am. He stays in bed until 8 now! Works great, we don’t use the sound feature, just the light. My boys share a room and the 8 yr old likes to sleep in so it’s nice that you don’t have to have an alarm sound. It’s bright enough to show the different colors, red yellow and green. 👍🏼 so nice

Functionality is great but it is by far too bright. After the lights go out in the room and your eyes adjust it produces a distracting amount of light even on the lowest setting. Would not recommend based on this feature alone. We have ours tucked into a box to dull the brightness some.

Wanted a battery powered one to reduce cables in toddler's room and bought this based on the description. Sadly the battery function is just to keep your settings if there is a power outage. The red, amber and green lights do not work unless the clock is plugged in. Otherwise a good purchase.

Love this clock- I used it to tell my 3 year old toddler that the sleep buddy is here to take care of her while she sleeps and mummy goes back to her own room. What used to be 2 hours of lying in bed with her till she sleeps is now a 10-20 mins affair with no tears . Toddler loves the book that comes with it too. Naps are still a struggle but she knows to stay in her room with her sleep buddy till it’s green.. giving adults some respite . Great clock!!

I looked for a long time to find an okay to wake clock that was red/green. I tried a more “fancy” and expensive sleep tool which relied on WiFi and programming to work and it just failed so many times. This clock has been amazing. Simple and does the job perfectly. Instructions are VERY easy to follow.
