F Gear Military Tactical Rucksack (Khaki)

Honest Review 📍Pros; 1) Good tactical backpack. This is my third bag from F Gear company. I love their bag's. 2) Solid Build. Material is hard. Good back, shoulder padding. 3) Molle System is the best. Plus point for Style and Usage. 4) Good Design. 5) World famous quality YKK Zippers. 6) total major 5 compartments, and small too. 📍Cons; 1) Stitching could be better, some straps lack stitching. 2) Large Shoulder straps are good but bit uncomfortable. Not ease of use because the gap between both. 3) No Water bottle holder, is a big drawback. 4) No Rain Cover compartment, nor Cover. 5) Sternum strap(Chest strap) length is very small. I have to order seperate strap for additional 200/-. It is important strap but company cut the cost by giving small strap. 6) 29 ltrs feel still Small. This is my Second Tactical backpack, I have Tripole, which is slightly better. Wanted to give 5 stars but due to Sternum strap, Water bottle, Rain cover, Size giving 3 only. Manufacturer must consider this important things. Overall Good, Stylish yet Strong Tactical Backpack. Edited after a one day travelling on bike: THE CHEST STRAP, HIP STRAP COME OUT, GOOD I HAVE SEEN IT ELSE THEY WOULD HAVE BEEN LOST. SUCH HIGH PRICE BUT LACK SIMPLE STITCHING. I PAID 80/- EXTRA TODAY FOR STITCHING. REDUCING STARS TO THREE ONLY NOW. F GEAR SHOULD SERIOUSLY THINK ABOUT QUALITY.

TLDR: Design: 5/5 Material: 1/5 This review comes after almost a year now. I have used the bag very sparingly during this time. The first issue that came up was when my zipper jammed up due to some loose threading, at this time I didn't think much of it as new bags do have some lose threadings here and there. After cutting them out as cleanly as possible, I started noticing more in the coming weeks. This is when I realized that the cloth linings that run on the inside along the zippers are the reason, they should have used a better quality cloth. If the threads keep shedding from the cloth you risk zipper jams and in future it might reach the stitching, which would get undone after that. This was deeply disappointing as I am someone who invests a lot of time in researching before buying a product and I often sort of develop a long term relationship with them, using them for decades at times. Anyway since I was already invested I decided to glue the cloth lining strengthening its binding. This were fine for a long time after that ( about 9 months). It was yesterday while taking something out I noticed a tear in the fabric at the bottom of the bag, this was in the largest chamber. For a bag lined with so much molle this should be impossible since most of the tension would be on the molle and not the fabric. And given how caring I have been, it couldn't have been some accident that went unnoticed. My mistake was that I should have stress tested it sooner than later so that I failed early and had more time to find myself a better bag. I plan to try Tripole Alfa 45 now, incase that fails too, I would be going for western brands like quetechua, which although expensive, may prove to be an invaluable partner. The design fgear used is very common and can be found in good western brands (although I couldn't find them here in india). I liked the design for city commuting it is really good due to the narrow profile of the bag, but the width provides ample space. Anyway hope it helps will update the pictures as evidence soon.
