Great item

Have some old videos on VHS (transferred from 8m digital) which we watch occasionally. To be honest whilst the quality seemed fine on an older 21" TV on a 40" TV its not great using a SCART but its nice to watch them. One day will get them transferred to DVD. But in the meantime we plan to upgrade the lounge TV and new ones do not have a SCART so it creates an issue. Bought this device, fitted it and hey presto, VHS via an HDMI. Quality the same a SCART and regardless of 720 or 1080 setting it still the same, basically its no different to SCART and totally acceptable.Just one thing though. Description says the device is 3ft long but its only 2 ft. It also says the HDMI is 3.3 ft long, its not, its only 3 ft. This caused me an issue since the video is 6 ft from the HDMI on the TV, a foot too short. Luckily I had a longer HDMI which sorted the issue (along with a longer USB cable for power) but buyers should take this into account.

Easy install and connect. However it should be noted that it needs a power source for the USB.

Fantastic delivery, did'nt know how to plug it in at first but grandson saved the day. It was easy to install and connected my very old Toshiba dvd player to my new Hisense tv with no trouble.

It worked getting video to TV but no software with it to get the video to a PC - what do i do?

Super, je peux à nouveau utiliser mon appareil pour lire des DVD avec mon home cinéma et une image très nette ! Convertisseur très efficace et simple à utiliser.

Fonctionne bien mais manque un chargeur USB pour brancher l'appareil.
