I've been a daily user of caffeine gum for over 15 years and this is the best brand to date. The consistency of the gum is much better than other brands (the military one) which string out and leave tiny chunks between your teeth. Taste wise it's very close to regular spearmint gum. Bitterness is very minimal and well hidden in the flavors. Remember, caffeine is naturally bitter so you should expect a little bitterness from any brand at this dosage

While I agree with others there is a bit of a bitter flavor at first, I would remind you they each contain 125 mg of caffeine (try chewing a caffeine pill). It's very mild and lasts only a minute or so. After that, the mint flavor lasts a surprisingly long time. Even after several hours there is still a mild minty flavor. Other than that, the caffeine is caffeine!

Not as good as MEG Gum. It won't give you the same kick that MEG does in the beginning but its decent for what it is. You can get sick of certain flavors fast as the flavor lasts long after you're done chewing. I probably won't order spearmint again or ever wanna taste spearmint again after this lol.

Great taste, great value. I used to buy "MEG: Military Energy Gum" off Amazon but I switched to the Maax Caffeine gum. the Maax gum tastes better and seems more effective in improving my concentration.

I have had all 3 flavors now and this is a great product. Used to buy MEG but unfortunately prices got raised and i had to find another. Compared to that the flavor is better, mints are closer to wrigly brand and the cinnamon kind of tastes like atomic fireball candy if you ever had it. Does not seem to hit as hard caffeine wise, feels more controlled. will be buying again for sure. My suggestion is to buy the cup or a sealable container to carry some with you if you don't want the big bag lugged around.

I've been buying this product for a couple years now and have never had a problem until recently. They have definitely changed the formula and this new formula doesn't give me as much energy as the old formula plus it gives me a crazy crash afterwards. It also only lasts like an hour or two as opposed to the old version that gave me energy for almost the whole work day. I even tested it out, because I still had leftovers from the last time I ordered and I can clearly feel a difference in energy levels. It also has a strong cinnamon taste which is odd because I ordered spearmint flavor. Overall I don't think I will be purchasing this product anymore, because I don't feel the same boost in energy I used to with the old formula

This is a really good value for the money with the amount of pieces you get. I was getting Rev Max Energy gum in 6 pieces a pack and then could no longer find that in stores. I went on Amazon and found this replacement which has worked really well so far. It is actually more caffeine in each piece of this gum too. One thing I wish they would do is add paper wrappers in the bag like they do in Japan so we can then dispose of the gum without any issues.

The initial taste wasn't terrible, but the after taste was absolutely horrific. It was so bad if fact that I only kept it in to get the effects, spat it out, and grabbed a normal piece of gum. The effects of the gum kicked in roughly half and hour later, and hit all at once. I feel that it may be too much caffeine to consume all at once. Another thing, I wish they were individually packed as opposed to a bag of loose pieces.

They are not the best flavour wise, at least not to begin with. They have a mid flavour, and have mid after taste... but they are cheap, and really effective. Straight kick of caffeine. After about a year and a half of using them on the regular, I have gotten used to the taste - to the point where I actually enjoy it.

Works so quickly! I feel alert within 10 minutes, the taste can get bitter after 15 minutes, but otherwise fantastic product! A great, on-the-go alternative to energy drinks.

It works just one minor nitpick the taste gets weird after a about two or three minutes but overall been using it and works good

Good energy. This flavor is terrible. I took another reviews advice and chewed on a caffeine pill. The pill genuinely tastes better.
