Highly Recommend!
I have oily skin and my pores are constantly clogged. I use this peeling gel twice a week, it cleanses pores very well, exfoliates dead cells, resulting in incredibly radiant skin.

I did some research about the clumps people said to be dead skin: "The gel contains protease enzymes (like papain from papaya) that help loosen dead skin cells, so there’s a chemical exfoliant component. There’s also cellulose in the formula. Cellulose is a substance that doesn’t dissolve in water, so as you massage the gel, the cellulose fibers clump together. These clumps help pick up dead skin and dirt, essentially giving a gentle physical exfoliation." ----- My review: I’ve only used this peeling gel once so far, but I wanted to share my early impressions. Like other reviewers mentioned, it does form clumps as you massage it in. From my understanding, this is mostly the cellulose in the product reacting on the skin—not necessarily old dead skin like some people assume. It can pick up some dirt and debris, but the clumps themselves aren’t proof of heavy exfoliation. That said, my skin felt noticeably clean, smooth, and refreshed afterward. What stood out the most was how soft and moisturized my skin felt. Unlike some exfoliators that leave my face tight or dry, this one actually left it supple and hydrated. My only complaint is the vague instructions. It says to use a “moderate amount,” but that’s not very helpful. What’s considered moderate? A pea-size? A quarter-size? Also, I personally wouldn’t recommend using this more than once a day—too much exfoliation can cause dryness or irritation over time. Overall, I’m really enjoying it so far. The formula feels gentle but effective, and I love how my skin feels afterward. I’ll update my review as I continue using it. * I have never purchased a product so newly out of the factory that I have plenty of time to use the product which expires in Aug 2028. It was produced in Aug 2025 and here we are in Nov 2025. Another kudos to the company.

If I could give this 10 stars I would. I’ve tried every exfoliating product known to man and this is INCREDIBLE. Hydrated glass skin after use, dead skin cells gone. I love it!!!

I used another brand of facial peeling gel for years but I wanted to switch to a more affordable product. ma:nyo Galactomy peeling gel, looks more like cream than a gel, is very affordable but it gets the same results as more (outrageously) expensive brands. I read the reviews about customers saying that the “balling effect” we get is only the breakdown of the gel and not the removal of dead skin. Yes, the peeling gel disintegrates when rubbed onto the skin (same effect as when you use an eraser to rub out pencil drawing) BUT this is the way the product works. It gently exfoliates the skin by lifting dead skin and impurities and binding them with the gel, hence the gommage effect. Peeling gels, in my opinion, are far better than conventional facial scrubs as they are more gentle on your skin and not gritty. I will agree that this peeling gel is a bit of a pain to rinse but I would say that despite the inconvenience, stick to it. After a few uses, you will notice you have less impurities to remove, you will use less of the gel, therefore less effort to rinse. Make sure your hair is away from your face though, as it can stick to it. Then again, the same thing can be said for any exfoliant. Also, rinse your face with lots of lukewarm water and finish with a splash cold water. From my experience, when I first started using a peeling gel, I used it every other day. I used to get a lot of grime but nowadays, I only do it once every two weeks or so as my needs to exfoliate has reduced and my skin is smooth. I am also done in less than 2minutes. I have an oily type of skin. I concentrate more on the T-zone by rubbing the gel in little circles and I used it sparingly on my cheeks. A little note: If your skin type is dry, I would advise to use a gel like Apricot Blossom Peeling Gel by Beauty of Joseon, also sold on Amazon. It is much gentler, easier to rinse and better suited for delicate, drier skins, I think. I have used both in my search of a new product and this is what I have noticed. To finish, ma:nyo Galactomy is excellent for oily and non sensitive skins. I will stick to it for the time being. It is is more “aggressive”, therefore better for my needs and does not irritates my skin (it is also much, much, much affordable than my old brand and as I said, the results are as good). I can only speak from my own experience. You have to try it for yourself :-)

This peel is surprisingly effective for such a soft, non scrubby gel. It rolls up easily when massaged, lifting dull, dead skin so that my face feels smooth and looks brighter right away. I do this once or twice a week and my skin has never looked better!
