The mattress pad arrived promptly and well packaged. I removed it from the zippered plastic bag (no weird smells or anything, which is always a plus these days) and popped it right into the washing machine, then into the dryer. It washed up very nicely, with no issues, and seems to be well made. It fits perfectly on my full-size bed, and feels nice and cushy. There is plenty of room for my thick mattress, with no pulling at the corners or undue stress and strain. This mattress pad will do the job it's intended to do - keeping our mattress fresh and clean, and it looks like it will be able to take numerous trips through the washer and drying without wearing out too quickly. I am impressed with the quality for the price, so it's a win-win. It's exactly what I wanted and expected and I'm very pleased with this purchase. I highly recommend this product to anyone looking for a quality, basic mattress pad. Well done!

I don't like having an "extra deep" mattress because it's hard to find sheets and mattress covers that are really deep enough to fit and stay on. My experience with many sheets has been they list a certain depth on the container but it can barely stretch to fit and stay on. Same thing with the mattress cover I've had most recently. I really have to stretch the fabric to get it around the bottom edge of the mattress, now the material is finally tearing. I was very leery about this product, especially because of the incredibly low price. I even emailed the seller before ordering it. They got back to me very promptly, saying just to be sure they'd measure it again so we had a couple emails back and forth. I'm pleasantly surprised at the fit and quality. My mattress is about 13 inches deep and this cover fits very easily with room to spare so I can easily believe it would fit a 16 inch deep mattress, the depth stated in the article description. The quality seems fine to me. The top quilted part is just as thick as my previous mattress cover for which I paid more. I expect this will hold up better than my last one because I won't have to continuously stretch it.

I have a 9" mattress, with a 4" memory foam topper. This fitted mattress pad cover fits perfectly, with room to spare! very deep sides that fit the complete mattress easy to put on!! The quilted top is comfortable and well-made, with no loose threads or ragged edges. I have washed it twice and it has held up very well. It did not shrink. The stitching in the seams and on the quilted top held tight, with no breaks. its soft and comfortable. I already had a mattress topper on my bed. I just wanted something extra to put on top of my mattress topper. I purchased this item and I must say it made my queen size bed feel extra soft. It fits nicely secured over the entire mattress.

I'm pleased with this mattress pad. The top pad is soft and comfortable and it's lightly padded. I didn't buy it for the padding, as my mattress has a pillow top, but I bought it for protection to help keep my expensive mattress clean and free from snags, etc. The padding is just thick enough to be protective, without adding thickness to the mattress. The sides are very stretchy and it easily covers my deep mattress. I've had similar pads in the past that were difficult to pull down all the way, and crept up on the sides. Not this one, it truly goes under all sizes and it stays in place. Some of the reviews seem to indicate varying quality, so it's possible that different sellers may be selling mattress pads from other manufactures. I've bought two of these, several months apart, and selected the same seller, and both were good quality. It's not the highest quality, nor is it the most expensive. But I'm happy with it.

This product violated my motto "I can't afford to buy cheap stuff"... because I end up buying it over and over again after it breaks. But, when a previous hundred-dollar purchase from JCPenney literally fell apart after the first washing, after only a couple of months use, and after I read about similar problems with other expensive products, I invoked the alternative motto "What can I lose?"... if it breaks, I can buy four more for the same overall cost. Anyway, it fits, it seems sturdy enough, it works, and so far it's five stars. Will it fall apart in the wash? Time will tell. Update: That was then (January 2012), this is now (May 2013) and this mattress pad cover has survived 3 washings unscathed, not to mention several vacation house renters. This confirms my original 5 star rating, and I can finally say "Yes, buy this product!" In case you're asking if I ever give a bad review, the answer is "apparently not yet"... but I'm just getting started on this Amazon Review Adventure and there are a lot of items in my order history.

I've had this for over a week and love it. I was concerned that the extra deep pockets and skirting would allow it to shift on top of the mattress but it hasn't moved and seems to stay right in place. The pockets on this item are really deep and stretchy so will probably fit most pillow tops. My king sized bed is a double pillow top and there's still extra fabric. I had to really tuck them in but that's not a huge problem to me. The photo of it on the bed makes it look really puffy but it's not. It's quilted but not thick enough so that it's noticed through the sheets and offers a nice padding between me and the mattress. Another observation is that it doesn't make any crinkly sounds since it's not designed to be waterproof. If you're looking for a nice mid-priced mattress cover I'd recommend this one in a heartbeat.

Fitzell, nice and stretchy sides

This topper seemed ok first night. After 2nd and third use, found it just ok. It is bigger than the rv mattress, so extends over a little. Helped with sore joint issues, but body seems to sink into it too much (not very firm) and even sinks in the middle (mattress underneath does not)., so the lighter person goes down towards middle. Not what was expected, as we have used these before.

It is quite some time since I replaced my mattress cover as I had a very good quality one that lasted over ten years. I am very happy with this product as it has deep pockets and is soft and cushion like to sleep on. I do not know how water resistant this product is as I have not had an accident on it. If that ever happens, I will update my review.
