These chairs are terrific - very attractive, sturdy, comfortable and complimentary to a wide range of table styles. They were easy to assemble and look exactly as pictured, including the cole. When one chair kit was missing some washers, Amazon put us in touch with the vendor who immediately sent the washers, more than requested. Our kitchen table is an large square antique oak., the cabinets a rich autumn haze walnut. The chairs combined the traditional look with a more updated contemporary look. The chairs are perfect.

My brother is in a wheelchair, he needed chairs that were strong,and easy to to maintain with a classy style. He loved the chairs for his friends and he's able to move them around from his wheelchair. My Mother is very happy with the chairs and talked about how comfortable they were when she was able to eat with her son at the dining room table....I was very happy to know that this product was was perfect !!!

I will start by acknowledging that you get what you pay for, and in that respect these chairs look remarkably good for the price. However, as noted by other reviewers, it is difficult (if not impossible) to get the legs even so the chair doesn't wobble. Also, one of my chairs has a missing section of padding, and the way they pack them caused some permanent wrinkling of the upholstery. The most frustrating part was the screw holes. They are frustratingly close to the wood frame so you can't actually turn the supplied Allen wrench, meaning you have to keep removing it and reposition for the next turn. Two of the screw holes wouldn't accept the screw at all, and one was covered by the upholstery and had to be cut through. Too bad, a little more attention to quality by the manufacturer and these would be great chairs.

Horrible. Just awful. Do not allow yourself to be glamoured by the color and price.They look very nice, but 2 of the 8 chairs we purchased have already broken within the first month. We are scared to sit in the remaining 6 chairs because 2 only lasted through a few human bottoms. Seriously! They are in our showroom at our office and do not even get daily use. Unreal. It's very perplexing how these chairs got such high ratings on Amazon AND on Overstock.com. I am baffled. In addition, I bought and paid for a 5 year warranty with the chair purchase, but it doesn't seem to be linked to these chairs on my account and Amazon doesn't give me an option to return/replace the items. (I have never redeemed a warranty through Amazon, so maybe there is some consumer education that needs to be done, either way, I still have 2 broken chairs and no way to return them even though I thought I was protected by purchasing a warranty.) Are you listening, Amazon Gods? Help!

Really, at the price, I didn't expect a whole lot out of these chairs. I only ordered 1 set of 2 to try them out. After careful assembly, I can say they are well worth the money. Of course you aren't getting craftsmen level stuff here at this price, but I'd expect these to be at least 2-3 times the price at a furniture store. My suggestion on assembly, take your time. Make sure you use the correct length bolts, there are 2 lengths. Do not tighten down any bolts until are all are in and snug (not wobbling), then stand up the chair to make sure it all sits level and the feet are level, then while it is standing up, carefully tighten each bolt. Keep in mind, this is thin wood you are tightening, not bolts on a big rig, they don't have to be that tight. UPDATE: After a first successful set of chairs, i ordered 3 more sets. I notice that materials, colors, build style, and quality differ greatly with these chairs. I guess that's what you get for the price. Out of these 6, I ended up getting 2 chairs that were good, 2 chairs that were not good, and 2 that were unusable. The 2 that were not good required me to add some wood shims to hold the front legs in place properly. Without these shims, the legs would sit crooked and the bolts would not fit sometimes. The 2 unusable chairs were returned for another set to try. This set was the best of the lot, really well built, and nice tight fit to everything. Hopefully this signifies the future quality of these chairs. Some of the differences I noticed were: -Sheen of the material, some were shiny some were more matte -Wrinkles in material, some have more than others -Woods used in frame were different and some were poorly fit and assembled I still would not hesitate to buy these chairs, at the price they are great. Just don't set your expectations for perfection!
