The lights work amazing and they have been in the cold since i got them i haven’t got them on my truck yet but they work amazing i cant wait to get them on the only problem i have is on the app i cant figure out how to sinc my music to it but other than that it works amazing 10/10

I originally bought the 6-pod light kit back in July. I installed them in August. I installed one in each wheel well, one in the front and one toward the back. The picture with the purple lights was the 6-pod install. I didn't they gave me the look I was wanting because the sides weren't lit like I wanted them, so I upgraded to the 10-pod light system. I go those back in October and finally got out and installed them early December a few days before out city Christmas parade. I wanted to go ahead and finish them up because my jeep was in the parage. With the 10-pod system I only used 2 lights and installed one on each side for a total of 8 lights installed and this gave me the look I was wanting. For the price these lights are awesome. I haven't had any issues with the lights, and they look really great. I like how I can control them from my phone, the key chain controller, or the remote. These lights have lots of options like 7 color strobes, crossfade, jumping color change, or color change with music. All in all they are a great option if you don't want to purchase the high price lights that are available on the market, and they give you about the same quality. So far so good.

Took about 4 hours to install the way I wanted to. When they were done, they worked great. Nice and bright. App worked well. An hour later they became stuck on one color and would not turn on or off unless I used the main power switch. They next day they turned on for a minute in a completely different color, then just stopped working all together. Returning and bought another brand. Buy the extra wire extensions if you choose these. You will need them.

I didn’t feel comfortable dropping a load of money on rock lights when I wasn’t sure a) if I’d be able to do it and b) if I’d really like them. For the price, the risk/reward ratio was enough for me to pull the trigger. The hardest part about these was figuring out the best way to place them on my Jeep. I ended up putting one on the grill and rear bumper, one in each wheel well, and two on the side frames. The wires tucked up perfectly by the transfer case and I used all extensions (probably could have made it easier on myself by centering the connection and working backwards but ya live and ya learn. The app connects fast but the “remote” is also right under my feet on the underside of the frame. There’s a lot of options in the app and I’m still learning it but so far, it’s exceeded my expectations for the price point. The colors are vibrant and bright- there’s also an option for dimming which is perfect for keeping me legal on the road. I can’t attest to their longevity but they have gone through at least one rain and they still work so there’s that! It was also nice not having to do much wiring, just place the lights, use zip ties to attach the wires along your frame, use extensions when you need to, and hook up to your battery.

I put the 10 pack underneath my 5th wheel camper - the worst problem was routing cables and ordering extensions for a large camper. The first control unit worked for a minute, then quit. If I shook the unit, the lights would flash. A replacement was sent, worked great. Software is normal, app, control remote plus a car fob are a bonus. If you're doing a larger vehicle, I also recommend buying a cord protector, split wire loom. Cheap protection

Finally was able to get them on and could not be happier! I may be a girl but I absolutely love trucks. My husband did the install and it was extremely quick and easy. So happy with how bright they are.

The have mid brightness. Enough to attract bugs at night when on the lake. The light does not blind you so I think it’s good for inside use in the boat.
