This is a wonderful supplement and an excellent brand. It really works and I only take half the dose with a cinnamon supplement and it brought my A1C down a little and my glucose spikes weren’t as high. Start low dose and pay attention if you have any stomach discomfort and ask a doctor how to proceed. I always go by my symptoms and adjust from there to my comfort. It’s a marathon. Not a race. Watch for hypoglycemia symptoms (and do not take with other glucose reducing supplements without a doctors approval) and have some glucose test strips on hand to keep track of your sugar levels and journal everything. I have been taking berberine for several years for my sugar levels with great success ...got this hoping for even better results did not check my sugar for several weeks and had diabetic trauma !!! Maybe it will work better for you but I switched back to the cheep stuff.
