The Big Purple Book of Beginner Books

I bought this for a trip for my 5 year old. He has recently learned to read and loves books. We have “are you my mother” by PD Eastman, and it is one of his favorites to read, so I thought he’d love this collection. We were on an airplane for 9 hours. My son was allowed to open it once on the airplane. It has given him HOURS of entertainment. He reads it by himself, the stories are simple and fun. My 3 year old loves being read out of this, and even my 7 year old loves reading this. I definitely recommend this for a wide range of ages, and especially for beginner readers! A big hit in my household!

Great alternative to buying the books individually. Our son loves Dr Seuss and we got him all of the Big books of beginner books. He is able to grab one book but still read several stories. They are great compilations of the classic beginner books by Dr Seuss for every generation.

Purchased as bedtime stories for my 1.5 and 3 year old daughters. They like the all you can read buffet style story books. We have several of the “BIG” Seuss books and have liked them all so far. My favorite story is “Flap Your Wings” about a bird family that accidentally raises an alligator. My 3 year old is particularly fond of the Fred and Ted stories. Cute book collection that I believe was only about $10 which I fantastic for everything you get. I recommend this for toddlers especially if they are animal lovers.

My three year old granddaughter loves these. The illustrations are fun, nice colors. Fun children’s books.

Good stories. Bought it for my grandson and we had such fun reading it I bought it for my other grandson.

Child like the book.

My son really loves reading these books! They have colorful pages with bold large text, which is great for comprehension and easier for beginner readers to follow along. Great price for 6 complete Dr. Seuss stories. I would definitely recommend!

Full of stories I loved when I was a child. I have no information on whether or not each story is complete or edited in any way. The Japanese babies I read this to enjoyed the pictures, and I paraphrased rather than read each word as written.

Das Buch ist toll. Kurze Sätze gut mit Bildern erklärt. Mein Sohn lernt gerade englisch und es dient als zusätzliche Anregung. Er war skeptisch, aber das Buch hat mit Witz überzeugt.
