Wish I could give these 10 stars on curtains
Best outdoor curtains ever! We recently built an open gazebo on our back deck. We’ve had nothing but hard, torrential rain for months and the rain was splattering in on us making it unusable. I bought 6 of the 9x6s and made curtains (pictures attached with my review) and now we stay snug and dry. I had to hem the bottoms to fit (obviously) so I decided to leave the hem open and add a small chain link to click them together on those windy days. They’ve endured awful winds and extremely heavy rain and my family stays snug and dry. They work so well we brought our tv outside on a rainy night and had a cozy, dry, family movie night. I haven’t sprayed any water proofer on them yet but honestly, I don’t think they need it. The rain hasn’t penetrated to the inside and they dry really quick. I’ve gotten so many compliments on them so far. They look like heavy duty curtains that came with our gazebo. Everyone is shocked when I tell them they’re drop cloths. The only con would be that after you wash them, the material is horrible to iron BUT that’s also because the material is thick and heavy duty. Iron on the highest setting with lots of steam to get them smooth. Mine didn’t have any horrible seems like other reviews. They actually arrived nicely hemd on all sides. I highly recommend this product for curtains and would definitely buy again.

It’s great, but not magic
This canvas drop cloth is great! It’s sturdy, tightly woven, dense cotton is easy to drape over furniture but heavy enough to stay put without having to be taped down (compared to those thin, plastic drop “cloths” that fly out of place if anyone walks by, coughs, sneezes, or sighs. It is not waterproof right out of the bag. I think that should be obvious when it’s described as “cotton.” It does prevent paint from soaking through but if you’re expecting it to protect your floors from pet urine, you will need to treat it with scotch guard or wax or similar. For the size and price, it’s awesome! My most recent purchase was about the fifth or sixth we’ve purchased for a MULTITUDE of uses. It’s protected our floors and furniture from paint, plaster, and dust. We’ve cut and sewn it to make couch covers, curtains, room dividers, and even basic (or practice) clothing. This drop cloth is durable and versatile but keep in mind the price; it’s not magic. If it tears, that tear is going to keep growing until you sew it. Liquid will soak through it, unless you treat it. If you want soft cotton, you’ll have to stone or acid wash, etc. For the price, you won’t find a higher quality or more versatile product.

Definitely sturdy...
I wish this was actually a softer material, but other than that, I use it (folded in half width-wise) on my cream colored carpeted steps going up to living room (from the entry door). Mostly for my cats dirty, little wet paws, ha, when it's raining or snowing. I had no middle seam on my drop cloth, as others complained about, so I was glad about that. It's constructed well. I do believe this item shouldn't be more than $11.00 or even less. In fact, larger sizes were cheaper. I hope the seller considers lowing the price on the 6' x 9' cloth. I would have bought 2 of them instead of one.

Sturdy and durable
Purchased this drop cloth as an alternative to a table cloth for a strangely sized desk my daughter and I share. Because the desk has drop leafs on both sides there is a set of drawers in the middle. I decided to try this so we could use as a tablecloth for a cohesive look and so you can’t see where the leafs fold down. I also liked the sturdy material and color which matches our home decor but also as we like to do crafts or painting when I’m not working or she’s not in school.I just cut the cloth to cover just the top but not the cover the drawers but also with enough fabric to cascade down the sides. Because I cut it we now have a second piece to use if this one gets stained. I would have added a picture but we were using it so it was cluttered.Overall it was a great buy, the material is sturdy and I won’t worry when my daughter paints.

What I was looking for and no lines/seams in the middle
These are perfect for what I will be using them for....curtains. I ordered one just to see how I would like it and loved it so I ordered a second one. There are no lines/seams in the middle which is what I wanted. I washed them and hung them up to dry. I read where someone advised not to dry canvas drop cloths in the dryer because they would shrink quite a bit. After they were dried, I ironed them to get the wrinkles out. I know some like the wrinkled look, but I like a more clean look. These are heavy enough to cut out a lot of light....kinda like blackout curtains. I will be ordering a 3rd drop cloth to make a ruffled valance for my new curtains.

CUTE for making farmhouse curtains!
I ended up using these for making farmhouse style curtains instead of the typical use of paint drop cloths, and I must say they turned out adorable! They’re fairly thick, and not very see through, so they’ll be great to block out light. All I had to do was iron out the seams and wrinkles, and fold over the top so I didn’t have to do any sewing.Only downside is because these are meant for painting and not decor, there are definitely small flaws in them such as some kind of stamp mark (pictured), tiny snags and some unevenness in the cut. But luckily, the stamp mark is hidden in a pleat.Overall, not enough negative to give them less than 5 stars for my project!

Forget the paint. We have three great danes. These are double awesome for entryways and couch covers. Fold them in half. When they get dirty shake them out, fold them in half and put the clean side up on the floor. Work great in the washing machine. Clean up very nicely. They last forever. We buy more because my kids steal them or we find other uses for them (did I mention to protect the car seats?) not because they wear out. These are bullet proof. Low tech perfection. You could use them as paint drop clothes - and I do - but I would rather use them 365 days a year. 5 star rating is too low for these life savers.
