I've been on a search for the best protein powder and it's been a difficult journey with how many are out there. However, I must say, this is one of my top 5 so far. ADDED REVIEW After reading some of the reviews concerning the subject of Erythritol being added to Garden of Life Grass Fed Whey powder I decided to do some online research concerning this matter. Since I'm not a doctor I can only give my opinion on this subject. Here is a brief review of what I have uncovered. Erythritol is popular sugar alcohol sweetener as is also Xylitol. The upside of these two sweeteners is that they contain almost no calories. The downsides seem to range from mild to extremely dangerous according to some unsubstantiated reports. There was a study done on Erythritol in particular that "showed" that this alcohol sugar could potentially cause blood clotting, strokes and even heart attacks. However, having looked at all sides of this issue I have concluded that this study was extremely flawed. Doctor Eric Berg has stated that there are no negative side effects of Erythritol whatsoever when consumed in moderate quantities and I highly respect his evaluation. As for now I'm staying with Garden of Life Grass Fed Whey and consider it safe to consume. If, however, I have reason to believe otherwise in the future I will switch to another whey product. As far as changes in the quality of this product compared to the old formula I have no opinion since I have only experienced the newer version. Each person must do their own individual research and arrive at their own conclusions. But, as for me, I really like this product for both its nutritional value and its taste and I plan to stay with it.

The size is just what I expected, and it would fit nicely in your hand. It comes with a small pillow to sit on. I liked the little cat face in the middle since I like cats. Great shake I. have been using Garden of Life products for a while now. I cannot say enough good things about them. This product mixes well with a simple blender bottle. I don’t even use the blender wire it mixes so well. It helps me get the protein I cannot possibly consume from my everyday diet. The ingredients taste good, and I actually had more water than recommended because I don’t like its flavor too strong. It’s also a good idea because adding more water gives me more fluids. Since it’s powder, you can make it to your own taste. Stevie is added for sweetness and to keep the calories low. People with diabetes can use it too because it’s sweetened with Stevia, which doesn’t raise your blood sugar. Another good choice to put in here would’ve been monk fruit. That is also a 0-cal sweetener—otherwise, an excellent choice.

Tastes really bad- the "natural chocolate flavor" has a terrible after taste, almost like strong sugar alcohol that burns. Ingredients otherwise are better than most other brands

I first bought the vanilla and pea protein back in 2015. Back then the vanilla was much better tasting and easy to mix. Since then I bought a version two years ago and I still enjoyed it. Slightly different than the original but I still like the flavor and the ingredients; great protein source, low cholesterol, ok fiber n low fat. Great for post workout and recovery and price for what it is during prime days. Stocked up on 2. Went through one and just recently considered a subscription but noticed the review on the change in formulation for the vanilla. More cholesterol, less fiber, more scoops to get less protein!!! They hadn’t changed the chocolate yet so ordered that instead. Just received it n it has a distinct after taste. I will now definitely be switching protein powders and looking for a better quality whey. Also, GoL website only sells through Amazon with this low quality reformulation. Don’t be fooled to buy direct from their website to get the old formulation. Same crap! So disappointed that the company sold out and has joined the many corporations selling lower quality products for more profit and charging the same price!! Buyer beware out there

Best protein powder out here by far! Been using it for the past 6 months pre workouts and after and never felt better! Chocolate tastes great and doesn't upset my stomach at all. Mixes well with warm water the best FYI and I add Creatine and Collagen no problems. Sport is the best one out here for sure. Kinda pricey but worth it.

Love this product. Love Garden for Life products because we know its clean and good for our bodies! Good amount of protein per serving. Mixes well with water or milk and both the chocolate and the vanilla have a good taste! Its a good price point per oz on clean whey protein. Thanks!

I have recently used the chocolate gray packaged protein powder, bc my local health food store had some in stock. And, versus the new chocolate white packaged protein powder there isn’t enough difference in taste for me to dislike it. I barely notice. I’ll still continue using this protein powder, and I appreciate they removed erythrytol from the current ingredients. I never tried the old vanilla, or new vanilla.
