The actual containers are quite good. Both tubes together will not fit all the cremains of an adult, I think I was only able to fit about a third of my father’s ashes, but the size is perfect for carrying around and handling easily. I bought these specifically to take my dad’s memory with us on a family trip to Hawaii. I was very nervous about taking them through security but they were no problem. I did get pulled aside but the only thing the tsa agent did was a swab test on the exterior part of the velvet bag only and he was very clear and respectful when handling them and made it clear he is not opening the tubes or test my father’s actual remains. I also brought along my dad’s death certificate just to be safe. When it came time to disperse the ashes everything was very easy to handle and I was able to focus on the moment and remembering my dad and not fighting with a bad package which I very much appreciated. My only complaint is the velvet bags are cut to the exact dimensions of the bamboo tubes and are quite tight which you can see from my pics. The bamboo tubes themselves look exactly like the pictures and the top is secure but twists off easily. I sealed each top with some painters tape just to be extra safe but I don’t think that was really necessary.

I bought this to carry my sister's ashes to where she lived. I put it in my suitcase. It's very sturdy and has a velvet sleeve. When I got home, I had no more use for it. I can't remember where I put it now.

I am so glad I bought these for spreading ashes. I recieved the ashes in a literal box which makes spreading a bit difficult. These do not fit a whole lot but all the people involved were able to have a part in spreading the ashes by having more than one container. It turned out to be the best solution for a sad day. The lids fit nice and tight on these but I still wrapped a piece of tape around them for transport, just in case.

It was decided that my sister's ashes would be divided up and scattered in various locations by several of us. I mailed several urns, and they all arrived intact. (Including one that was sent internationally to Thailand) Another Urn made it through TSA with no problems, on a flight, in someone's carry-on. My sister was about 100 lbs soaking wet, so I was surprised how many ashes there were. It took 10 of these urns to divide her ashes up. I don't recommend putting the lid all the way on. We learned the hard way that it creates a vacuum seal, making it VERY difficult to open. I just put the lid most of the way on, leaving about a millimeter gap. This worked out perfect. It was still sealed enough to stay closed.

Great way to share in scattering a loved one’s ashes. Also a nice keepsake after.

I bought these travel urns for my mom who recently passed away. The craftmanship and wood looks nice. They are rather long and big but nice to travel and spread my mom's ashes.

This is a to spread your loved ones ashes, do you want to have a problem pulling it apart? Then all of a sudden it comes apart and there goes the ashes everywhere!

We. Ought these to spread my father’s ashes at his favorite beach location…gave a tube to each family member to sprinkle. Downside is that they should have had holes in the lid to shake the ashes out but we drilled holes in ours so problem solved. The bags they come with are very tight and hard to put the tubes in them.

Well packaged and love the velvet covers.

As you can see I ordered a set of 4 but only received a set of two. I am also out of pocket with the refund as I had to pay more for the return to the US. Not impressed
