Thank God It's Natural Rose Water Defining Styling Gel

Brilliant for style but goes white if not washed out the same day

Full disclosure: I'm white, I have wavy 2b hair, and I use this in a very shortened version of the curly girl method. I was a little hesitant to try this product because I was worried it would have a strong rose scent, but it smells very light and the scent doesn't linger. The texture is nice too, like a facial serum. I flip my head over after my hair has been re-dampened and scrunch into the ends. Letting it air dry after gives me really nice results: soft waves without using heat, very little frizz (i'm naturally frizzy unfortunately), and it almost always holds throughout the day. Highly recommend if you're new to the curly girl method, or just want something light and uncomplicated to add to your haircare routine :)

Will this lay edges? Kinda I still use eco for that but this gel is the bees knees. No heavy residue and nice hold. I do have to reapply it though every other day but other than that I love it. Nice fresh and not overwhelming perfume scent. Washed out very easily just use warm water when you shampoo . Curls are moisturized and popping!

I typically love to use this gel when I’m looking for less of a hold/shrinkage and more volume. I hate that it does not mix well with the curly cream from the same line, however I apply both with A LOT of water. Be careful on how much you use because it does flake. I wish the pump functioned better, once you get towards the bottom it’s difficult to get product out. I think I use more than needed sometimes because of how difficult the pump can be. My wash and gos always last at least 7 days with any product.

Love the texture of this gel and how it makes my curls pop. This light weight gel does not require much to be effective.
