I usually don't take the time to write reviews but the customer service I received was great. I purchased the SP-2000 compression unit after using one during my physical therapy sessions because of a fractured knee. I also suffer from rheumatoid arthritis in my ankles. I have flare ups everyday and when I get off work, my legs are swollen and hurting. When it first arrived, I was worried if it would fit my legs because my calves are 22 inches in diameter and my thighs are 34 inches. I ordered the 2XL but just as I feared they were too small. I could not get the zipper to zip past my knees. I was ready to send it back but noticed the note inside that requested you contact the seller before returning it. I reached out to them on Whatsapp and they assured me that they could resolve the problem with a leg extension on each leg. It would give me an extra 3.93 inches of space. They shipped me the extensions in 2 days, and they actually resolved the issue! I was able to zip the zipper all the way up my thighs and the machine worked great. The pain in my legs didn't go completely away but the pain relief was substantial. I now have something else to look forward to when I arrive home.

I am very satisfied with this Doctor Life product! Although it took long to arrive (understandable with being shipped overseas- I was just being impatient), this product was WELL WORTH THE WAIT!! It works SO WELL!!! It is NOT noisy, very effective and feels great at the various levels of pressure! My body feels really good after using it. The timer feature is very convenient! Set it and lean back and relax. So far I have used it twice (all components back to back- first I do my torso, then my legs, then my right arm then my left arm.)…. I want to get the other accessories: another arm sleeve and the pants. So far this product is well worth the cost. High quality, comfortable, fits well. Accurate sizing chart and guidance. I will continue to use it and I hope it continues to impress! The bag to carry everything in is sturdy, convenient, padded, and durable also! This was a good buy!!

At half the cost of the next option I was concerned about the quality. It turns out this device works very well. The compressor seems solid and the leg sleeves are well made. These things definitely promote good circulation in the legs especially with the way they start the pressure at the feet and then slowly push up to the top of the thigh. I got them for Restless Legs Syndrome (RLS) This doesn't stop the RLS but it can be a relief and/or provide comfort while waiting for medication to kick in. I used to play competitive soccer and these would have been great to speed recovery. Only gave 4 stars because one of the leg sleeves doesn't always deflate after use. I am not sure if they use a one way valve for the compressed air or how it is built but all the other compartments decompress after power down. The reason this is an issue is that to store the sleeves it is MUCH easier when the compartments deflate fully. The sleeves are big and bulky and it is preferred to store them close to where I use them. I am also worried that this one compartment will eventually completely fail in the future.

Ask all questions before ordering product. I ordered wrong size boots. My fault for not asking questions before placing order. Gentleman did work hard after I purchased to find right size for me, but I did not explore their return policy in depth before buying. Figure out size before purchasing. Cost another 50. for extension device. Does soothe aching legs! Just know, no returns. Machine broke after month. I returned machine. No replaced pump. Won’t respond to my calls or emails. I’m out 600. Not ethical! Don’t buy!

Updating my review after using for several days. It felt like it was better initially, then I started to realize that I constantly get the zipper mark on my feet after use. I thought pressure might be too tight, so I lowered it and still get it. Also started to notice my feet hurts. So after all, despite functions are good, the fit are not good for me. —- I am writing this review after trying out Generation 1 Therabody recovery air (gray) and recovery air prime. They are good, but something doesn’t feel right. I am 5ft 3 with bigger thighs / calves. The Small size recovery air is too short, the medium is too long and it causes pain on my feet. The recovery air generation 1 has this whizzing sound when pumping air and design at the back of the thigh causes the air pocket to pop out of shape. Material is cheap. But recovery air prime has better material, no whizzing sound, it gets too warm with the better material thought, then the prime battery life is so short! Ok, here’s what I like and do not like about Doctor Life SP-2000 that I bumped into. 1. Build quality is good. And sleeves are more comfortable that recovery air. 2. The machine is quieter than recovery air. 3. I like you can control the pressure of each of the 4 channels. That’s helpful as recovery air models I tried only have 1. 4. Bag is a bonus 😀 5. Having a handle to move around is convenient, just like Gen 1 recovery air. What I dislike: 1. It only has setting for 30 min whereas recovery air has setting for 45/60 or continuous operation. At about the same price that I plan to spend in the range of $500, I am keeping this instead of the recovery air Gen 1 because of the better sleeves design and the controllable channels. Now only time will tell if this will last. But I have been using compression air for almost a month now. It is really helpful. I use it before my sleep and I sleep soundly. Hope this helps!

I purchased this but didn't try it for several months. That was a mistake. I have had lymph edema for a couple of years and have to use compression socks over the calf. They help but not alot. I tried this system, using it for 30 minutes twice a day at a mid range (140-150 mmHg) pressure setting. It has 4 compression areas in each leg sleeve. Each cell fills with air and compresses the muscles starting with the ankle/foot then the calf, then lower thigh then upper thigh. The whole cycle takes about 15 seconds before repeating. The difference in how my legs feel is amazing. The neuropathy is markedly reduced and numbness is going away. Swelling in my lower legs is probably 20% of what it was just three weeks ago. Most importantly my legs feel normal when I go to bed each night so sleep is more attainable. Wish I had started this program years ago. I recommend if you try it, start with the pressure setting at about 75 mmHg until you get used to it. The benefits are well worth the cost. I don't recommend the cheaper (under $200) systems as they won't achieve the higher pressures you will need to get practical results. Good luck.

It is so ideal than previous model. But didn't consider about certain patient who has foot pain or knee pain.
