Works as expected. Thanks.

Used two and they work well
No issues with soldiering the connections. Power adapter fits as expected and holds reasonable well. I'm guessing the problem area will be the nut that holds the connector in place. I haven't had any issues, but if it's a permanent application I'd definitely recommend adhesive. A "removable" connection needs to be in a place where the nut can be reached and tightened occasionally.

Well made DC jack at a good price
These are reasonably well made panel mount DC input jacks. They will fit into a panel up to 3mm thick. The dimensions provided by the seller are accurate so planning the correct hole size is easy. As other reviewers have mentioned a 5.5x2.1mm plug fits a little tighter than I'm used to but makes very good electrical contact. I'm OK with it. The inside depth of the jack is 9mm so it's best to choose a plug with a barrel around 10mm in length if you don't like the plug barrel hanging out. A lot of the 5.5x2.1mm plugs on Amazon have a 13.5mm barrel which leaves around 4.5mm of the barrel exposed when fully seated. That doesn't bother me because I bought these for enclosures that don't have a lot of space. I had no problem getting the lugs to accept Kester 44 solder using a Hakko FX888D soldering station set at 400 DegC (750 DegF). Between 1 and 1.5 seconds was all it took. There was no discoloration or deformation of the plastic after soldering. The center conductor terminal remained tight. The plastic body feels very solid to me. I was careful not to overtighten the supplied hex nut and got a good firm fit. A lock washer would have been nice to have even if it reduced the maximum panel thickness a little. I was disappointed that one of the jacks I received was broken due to a manufacturing defect (see photos). But it wasn't worth returning the entire shipment for one jack. There were still plenty enough to work with. Just be sure to factor that in if you are working on a project requiring a lot of DC input jacks. Overall these are good parts at a great price. They aren't built to the standards of a name brand part. They are built for value.

Power Up!
These Female DC Power Jacks are just right for adding external power to guitar effects pedals. I like the fact that they are isolated electrically from the effect's metal housing, so there are no issues with polarity from the incoming power source. This 12 pc package is a good deal too!

An average D.C. connector
As noted in other reviews, it's a tight fit. It seems the center pin on this DC connector is slightly oversized, so it's sometimes difficult to plug in a 5.5 x 2.1mm cable into this DC connector, but it does plug in after some force. Recently I discovered that I had no connection. When I pressed on the mating cable, it started working again (first time this has happened in the past 5 weeks). However, it doesn't give me a warm fuzzy that it's already having connection problems (after 5 weeks). If it acts up again, I will replace. I would not recommend this connector (unless you need an insulated small form factor 5.5 x 2.1mm panel mount connector that is tight and iffy on it's connection)

Work OK.
I needed some fairly shallow jacks for a project in a small project box and these do the job. The only thing I don't like is the center pin isn't the split type but rather a solid pin so plugs with slightly wider center holes won't work well with them, you have to find plugs that are the right fit. But for the money they're OK.

Well made
Good low voltage connection.

Only needed one to supply power to a Morly ABY pedal on my Pedal Board. Worked great. The short stud on my connectors is the negative and the long stud is the positive. Boss power adapter fits perfectly. Real snug will not come out accidentaly. Added a drop of silicone to the washer so it will not back out. Great product. Update, just purchased two Boss FS-5L switchers. I guess I will need the extras to hook them up to power them.

I was needing power inlets that were compact in order to fit into a project without much depth, and these do the job well. The seem well made and soldered easily. It was necessary in my case to solder before fitting into a panel, and getting the nut over the soldered connections was then tricky, but bending the lugs slightly was possible without breakage and solved the issue.

Fast and efficient as always, the jack plugs are worth the money 💰

These were excellent quality, but I really don't need 12 and will never use them, so I sent them back.

Just a heads up, these are inside negative, outside positive (if you follow the lead length conventions). This is opposite of most things in North America. I'm glad I checked before I soldered it! It's easy enough to flip around the wires. Otherwise a great product, the plastic threads worked well for me, didn't strip like I saw in some other reviews.
