Don't buy. Utterly useless.
Spills and just too much oil. Spray as hard as you can and there will never be a proper spray. You can literally splash with a spatula or something and it'd be 10x better. Wasted money, wasted time.

Dont know how it cleans just started using but as far as how it works. I love thing thing it provides a great oil spray . Had purchased one of the first ones on the market with the old fashioned spary nozzle and it spurt more than it sprayed. It did not work so i purchased this with trepidation but it works great. Ordered a second one.

In brief, this product is the best oil mister you can get. It's a great price for its utility and longevity. For the curious, I've had this product for about three years. In that time, I've run through probably a dozen or so avocado oil bottles, almost entirely dumped into this little sprayer. Every time, it dutifully turns that oil into a perfectly distributed mist that coats whatever I wish absolutely perfectly. It's moved several times, with the only precaution being a bit of tape over the lever (to prevent it being snapped off) and it still looks and functions as good as new. In terms of power, you could easily grease an entire 14" skillet at about 4-5 feet distance (ask the wall in my previous apartment, it knows). For most use cases, you'll probably want the sprayer a bit closer. I find that the shape it sprays is a squished spheroid shape, which works pretty well for most of my applications. As for the form, it's pretty mediocre. I think it looks quite ugly in my opinion, but beauty is in the eye of the beholder. The base and top are both a decently rigid plastic, which is fine in this instance as it prevents any leaks.

I like this mister so much that I have bought four of them. It gives a strong mist and does not clog. I consider myself fairly frugal and am certain that I will recoup the purchase price ($15 each) within months. I bought my first one because using a store bought can of olive oil spray on my non-stick skillet had left a residual and basically ruined it. At the same time, even a non-skillet benefits from a light spray of oil. I bought the second one to use to mist my daily salad with a high quality balsamic vinegar. The brands of vinegar I like are $18 or more per bottle. I can use half as much compared to pouring and tossing. Each bottle now lasts two months, rather than one one month. The third one I bought to mist seasoned oil onto popcorn. This provides just enough oil to allow salt to stick and be tasty. It is fewer calories compared to drizzling butter on the popcorn. And the fourth bottle was gifted to a friend. She really likes it and I can see she uses it when I am at her place for dinner. I have bought a $20 metal mister in the past that clogged readily and did not work as well as the Mistifi. I have tried inexpensive plastic misters from Target and from Walmart and they were more of a stream than a mist.
