Favorite Toy
This was a pricey item but ended up being my grandson's most favorite toy this Christmas. He is 5 years old and has played non stop with it since Christmas. I purchased some small army figures to complete the overall experience. Great buy for a child.

Not true 1/18 scale
Not true 1/18 scale.cab doors only open half way. Not designed for use with action figures, no space in the cab to seat figures. Top hatch doesn't open quite all the way either. Also the machine gun fits sloppy in it's mounting hole, antenna is loose fitting as well. On the plus side, engine compartment is highly detailed and the hood clamps actually work! The trunk shocks work very well also! The steering wheel actually turns the front wheels, nice. It looks good to display, but just don't function for this g.i.joe collector.

Like the real deal! Worth it if you want ultra realistic!
Wow. I was preparing to be unimpressed, but I'm shocked at how real it is, and the details of it... It's correct in every way possible for a toy. I've driven and used real ones in the army, this is great. The tires could be a better rubber, but they are okay. Overall, wow! I've taken liberty with the help of another cheap plastic 1:18 scale Humvee, and made a rough version of an "update 4 up armor" package using parts of the plastic one. I need to paint details, dremel more, polish adhesive and fill gaps, but its coming along. This metal Humvee is awesome. I'll post more pics as I go along. My goal is to make it as close as I can to my old Convoy Security Vehicle gun truck I commanded in Iraq. It's actually therapeutic. If I could afford more, I'd sure as heck buy more of these metal Humvees. You'll love the details.

Scale cars and military vehicles are the best and this is no exception. Goes perfectly with other scale vehicles.
