Love the Lizard Skins - So Grippy. My favorite bar tape. Easy to install and clean if you use for cyclocross like me.

I have tried a bunch of different tapes and I always come back to this one. I prefer the 1.8mm as it goes on the best. I feel like it wears quicker than other tapes which is frustrating as it's more expensive than the others - maybe the thicker variants are longer lasting. It looks good and goes on well though so I keep coming back to it.

Best most comfortable handle bar tape ever!Advice: Don’t take the warning “Don’t stretch the tape when wrapping the bars” too literally. You do need to stretch gently. I learned the hard way. My first wrap attempt looked great. But after a few miles the tape shifted and bunched up. $44.00 down the drain. The caution is because to much tension while applying will rip the tape. Understand what the breaking point is and wrap under that threshold and you will get a perfect wrap that stays in place. I also found that a smidgen more than half a width overlap works out well.

This stuff is great; Buy it!

Fabric brand bar tape is grippier, longer lasting (won't de-laminate like Lizard Skins), and MUCH LESS EXPENSIVE!
