Perfect for my old, overweight Jack Russell
My Jack Russell is spastic. She is 14, overweight, and arthritic in her hips. She can no longer jump on furniture. Ordered these foam steps. Four tier. PERFECT HEIGHT. We opened the package and left it out to pop into shape. Six hours later they were stairs. 12 hours later they were ready. Had no trouble getting the cover on. Literally placed them in front of the chair, and the moment I got them there my baby hopped on and climbed up. No problem. She has now used them many times in the last hour up and down. She loves them. When we go to bed tonight, we will move them to the bed for ember to climb up and down. They are a smidge shorter than our bed, but not by much and she has already tested them out and had no problem getting up on the bed and down again. Now, we have vinyl floors and, as I said, my baby is a chunky monkey. So the steps do slide a smidge. Not enough for her to fall off or anything but enough for momma (me) to not like it. So we purchased a roll of Velcro at Joanne’s craft store and laid it in front of the chair on the floor and attached the other side to the bottom of the step. Did the same in the bedroom. And it keeps it stable to the floor for her to use it and momma feel she is safe. And it’s still moveable from room to room. Extra bonus and really impressive for the company: They included a tug-of-war toy in the package. I absolutely love this because, one, it’s very thoughtful. Two, it’s a ready-made positive reinforcement toy to show the babies that the steps are a good thing for those babies that are apprehensive. My baby was not apprehensive. But when we opened the toy, she knew it was for her and she was happy to accept it. LOL. Really love the product. My baby is happy. She is going to have a much more comfortable, easier, less painful or non-painful experience getting on her furniture. And it really soothes my heart to know that she won’t have to rely on me picking her up to place her. She gets to maintain her independence and her confidence into these last years of her life. Great product. Totally recommend it!

3 Stair Lightweight Foam with Non-slip Base
I LOVE these stairs and so does my dog!! I have a little 10 pound maltipoo and she is very picky. She does not like to use cardboard stairs or stairs that feel unstable. These are perfect because of the non-slip bottom and the softness of the foam. They are sturdy and do not move around when she lunges off the 2nd step or runs up them quickly. They are not too steep, which is also nice. Each step is curved so there is less of a chance to trip. The fabric on the stairs is ripply, so it makes it easier for them to grip and run up. I would say each step goes up about a 3.5 inch incline. They measure 23" L x 15.5" W x 15.5" H. There are 2 little mesh pockets on the side, we aren't sure what we are going to put in there yet though! The handle on the back is super useful also if you need to transport from one room to the other. I love the light gray color, as it is neutral and goes with all of our beach decor and color scheme in our house. We loved these so much we purchased another one (3 total)! Highly recommend if looking for dog stairs. They perform great and are great quality! Also, these stairs came out of a very small box and opened up without appearing smashed within minutes!!

Great product and reasonably priced
My babies started using it right away. Light weight easy to move and clean. I have 2 doxies and it fits my couch. Also easy to clean

Good Stairs
Dog loves it. He can now climb up to the window seat on his own to spy on the neighbors instead of having to ask me to lift him up and down. Taking one star off because the only color available was white and that is a terrible color for dog stairs; should be black or brown or any other color that doesn't show the dirt.

When I needed softer alternative than wooden steps, this was best alternative! Great for high beds!
When it was hard for my dog to use the wooden 4 step stairs he's used for years, this was a great alternative! Due to our bed frame and mattress, it's pretty high up and required 4 steps for my dog; who desperately needs it as he's a miniature dachshund. And the wooden one we've had and he's used for years did the job great. But as he got older, and is now 16 (15 at the time when I bought this), and he's a super senior now, and he no longer really has strength in his shoulders & lower extremities, I found that, more often than not, his legs wouldn't really clear and end up dragging a bit, causing the front of his legs/paws to hit the wooden steps (made more predisposed to this kind of issue being a mini doxie with already shorter than the average dogs' legs). I then recalled that he used to have a 3 tier foam steps we used for the couch. Also, I observed him at a friend's house that uses a ramp that he had an easier time with it. Due to the placement of furniture & things in the bedroom, a full on ramp is not a possible option. So I searched out foam steps that had 4 tiers/steps. And I'm so glad I found this! What absolutely made this steps worthwhile is the fact that they are foam, but also especially the step profile is lower and more ramp-like; which is exactly what my miniature dachshund (with already predisposed shorter than average dogs' legs) super senior dog needs. I will say this about the foam quality; it is firm enough for him who is weak in his paws and legs to walk up, but soft enough that when his legs drag going down or up, it's not such a hard impact to them. The other most impressive & worthwhile thing is that it is tall enough to reach the height that I need it to (so my dog doesn't need to make it to the bed once at the top; if it were lower or 3 steps) -- getting up to a little more than 20", which is close enough to the 21" I needed. But because the clearance for the steps aren't as sharp or high, and/or because the makers want it to be more ramp-like, the amount of space this requires and sticks out is considerable; I would say by about 6"/half-a-foot more or less than the wooden steps I used to have (and gotten used to). So, of course, this does make it walking around it much more cumbersome as it sticks out more. On that note, my wooden steps could fold up and stand up flat, but as this is made out of foam (and one whole big piece), it should be obvious that that means that there is no foldability nor can it be considered a low storage capacity option or adaptability for it; so when staying at my relative's place for a weekend or more, transporting this is a hassle (with the amount of space it takes up in the car and lugging it around) -- but it is nice that they include a handle on the backside to assist in carrying/moving it. So, if you find yourself in a similar situation like me, and/or are in need for a 4 step high clearing but easy-on-impact (so it's) made out of foam but also with steps that are low profile making the whole thing more ramp-like -- this absolutely will meet your needs!

These stairs fit perfectly against our couch. Have had them a year now and they wear well. I have washed the cover several times and washed well and still fits the stairs good without any shrinkage. We have 3 Shorkies that use them daily and there is no signs of wear.

The item does not meet the requirements since it is very small. I initiated a return but unable to pack the sponge in the carton box Also no rope toy was found .

This was a second choice and I was really concerned about the negative comments about the foam not expanding! I reread the information provided by the seller. Two things made sense that I believe was the problem some people were experiencing. So I followed their instructions: 1) Leave the foam open to the air.....in other words don't put the cover on right away. 2) It takes 24 - 48 hours to fully expand. Warmer air is better. So I put the foam into my office and turned up the heat to 24c over night. Voila! it expanded and is sturdy beyond what it looked like when it first arrived. This is an excellent product. The foam is obviously newer tech, so those two points above I believe would have changed the negatives to strong positives. Yes its pricey but way cheaper than a vet bill when my Doxy (11) fell! She's now able to go up and down from the bed safely and so is her 14 year old brother a Chiweenie! It would definitely be a buy again if I needed another one.

The foam takes a while to fill out the material on the stairs. After a week there is no more loose material.
