Tuga SunwearTuga Girls Short Sleeve Rash Guard Children 1-14 Years, UPF 50+ Sun Protection Swim Shirt

This is the third set of tuga swimwear I have bought for my girls in three years. They fit well (if you size it right-see below), feel good, and look stylish. After a year's swim season of swimming almost daily, they become stretched and a little see through. Some of the colors run (purple), so watch for that.They are expensive, so I always look for them when they are on sale. The first two years I got the matching shorts, this year the shorts weren't available for some reason so I bought a different brand (city threads) in black which works just as well. That also meant I could get whichever top colour was cheaper as I didn't have to coordinate colors.As for the size, I always size down. My girls are on the skinny side and although they fit regular clothes for their age group, these swim clothes are a bit too big. The next size down fits perfectly.All in all my girls like them and I feel like they offer good protection from the sun (which cuts down on the amount of sunscreen we use!). We will be buying them again in a year's time.

Just a word of caution. My child has not used this yet - this is only a commentary on the sizing. By the chart, she's almost dead center in the 4-5 size range. To be sure the suit wasn't too tight, and in hopes of it lasting two summers due to the higher cost, I ordered the 6-7 size which should have been VERY roomy on her. Well, the top was certainly long as expected, the sleeves hang just below the elbow and are SLIGHTLY baggy in the armpit area, which I also expected. What I did NOT expect was his snug this would be thru the body. Instead of hanging loose as anticipated, it hugs her torso like a normal bathing suit would. One look and I knew it would be a one-sumner deal. If she gains any weight, maybe not even that! Very surprising and disappointing. It is very pretty, though, good quality and super soft. Hope it wears well.

Overall the swim shirt look very nice and my daughter likes it very much. The only issue was that it is somewhat large. My daughter is an average size 11 years old. I initially ordered for her the shirt, as well as swim short, both in size 11-12. But the pants were too small and the shirt was a little too big. So I replaced them with a size 13-14 short, and a size 8-10 shirt, and now my daughter is happy. I can't say much at the moment about how long they will last, since we just got them.

Perfect for modesty. I have a teen now and I bought these during 2015 summer. Its so hard to find something that covers my daughter well. They are so young, so innocent and dont need to be showing off there parts at the beach or in general. Brings morality back to society. I am really appreciative for this bathing suit options.Please keep them available. Show your child there worth. They are our borrowed gifts from God. Love the color and quality. My daughter loves it too. A bit pricey in my opinion. A kids swim costume shouldnt be this expensive! Heck, anything for kids shouldn't be expensive since they outgrow them so quickly. I noticed it goes on sale once in a while. Wait if you can and buy it at a lower price.

Great quality and coverage for my fair-skinned daughter. I love that it is long! No more worrying about the top riding up and her belly or back getting burnt!! I have bought cheaper suits for her the last couple of years, but this one is definitely better quality and fit than the cheaper versions.

A little more expensive than other swimsuits you may be able to purchase, but it fits our daughter great. She has gotten over a year and a half of use out of it and in the summer wears it lots! It is easy to wash and she says it is very comfortable. It has not faded or lost its elasticity. We would highly recommend this.

It is a nice piece, but unfortunately now my daughter doesn't want to use it or go into the pools ever because the material is not thick enough or doesn't have something to cover the area where she is now growing and starting to show. I am saddened by this experience she is having because of that detail.
