Anchor Hocking 2-Gallon Heritage Hill Jar

These glass containers are awesome cant say enough. They are big sturdy and you can use these for so many uses. I decided to use mine at this time to gold my candles on my cubard love the look. The glass is sturdy. Highly recommend it. Great value for quality

Price-wise ($24 and change when I purchased this), this is excellent. Size-wise -- be forewarned the 2-gallon version is HUGE. I'd made a double-batch of biscotti and the jar wasn't even 1/2 full. If you have a house full of kids or if you're a baker who bakes in huge batches, this is a FANTASTIC find. The glass is thick and HEAVY. Probably not suitable in a house full of young children, but if you're a baker -- excellent quality and fantastic price point!

Love Anchor Hocking glass ware. I've been buying their products since the 70's. They have an early American style, which I love. I'm so glad they didn't change that. I use this size for grinding wheat. It is tall enough to fit under my grain mill while grinding which helps keep all the flour going into the jar in stead of on the counter or floor. And it's a great size for storing flour. I don't care that it didn't have a seal, doesn't really need one. I cut a ring from a sheet of food grade silicon to lessen air infiltration which works great. Anchor Hocking products are always well made, at a great price, and exactly what I need. AND THEY ARE MADE IN THE United States. The jar was well packed and arrived undamaged. Very happy with my purchase.
