Best badge/id card holder I’ve owned. The clip for your belt or bag is super tough, the pull line is thick and you can really feel the quality when you pull it to badge in. The card stays in even if I try to shake it out, yet using the spot where you slide your finger or thumb to get it out is extremely easy. It is truly worth the $12 paid. The only thing I don’t like was having the key ring on it. It clanked around too munch and was noisy, so I removed it. Other than that, pretty fantastic.

I've had this item for nearly 3 years. The retractable key chain lasted about a year but the card holder last me until now. As long as you do not mind replacing the key chain, it is a good item.

My job requires me to have a badge worn at all time, it also requires me to squeeze in tight places and around equipment that has many ways to snag loose items like a badge holder. I was snaping 1-3 badge holders a week and got fed up and found this. The Retractable line is metal and holds up VERY good. It will not pull apart so be careful if you need that feature this will not work. The badge in the holder sits securely and blocks 1 side from view while leaving the other side viewable through clear plastic. The belt loop claps is durable and spring close. I have snagged it on a chair and it just pulled the chair as I walked away. A few other guys in my trades group has ordered these and I recommend it to anyone who needs one.

Practical and durable, I have used it for months and it still looks brand new. Highly recommended.

Bought this at the end of July 2025 and wore it every work day on my belt. It held a standard ID card. Over time, the clear plastic slowly degraded from normal daily use. It became brittle and weak. Last week, the snap piece that attaches to the metal key ring broke. Today, the bottom bolt/plastic finally snapped while I was walking and my card fell out. I was lucky to hear it hit the floor. This wasn’t overly abused. Just normal work wear, clipped to a belt. For something meant to hold an ID every day, this didn’t last long enough. A lost ID could easily go unnoticed and cause real problems. I expected better durability for daily use.
