Of course very convenient since there are not wires to run and no monthly bills to pay, you can’t go wrong with this. We mounted in a 20ft high metal pole, we just have a bad snow and ice storm and this light just kept going and no signs of water damage or anything. Excellent quality and value, exceeded all our expectations.

Love these!! Bought 2 in January 2021 and still running strong nearly 5 years later. Mine are set to come on at dusk and turn off 3 hours later. I've used multiple types of corded and solar lights, but these have out lasted them all. I installed 20'' up and they provide a large coverage area. I did buy the extended cord to place the solar panels farther away from the light due to tree shading. I did call the company once to find out if they sell replacement batteries and they do, I just haven't needed them.

This Engrepo Solar Street Lights is great. It was really easy to install. I put it on a piece of wood so I can mount it on my dock by my pond. Instead of mounting the solar panel on top of the light, I put it on the wood, so it puts less weight on the light portion. Since it is charged by Solar, no wiring or power needed by the dock. It is very bright, and the battery lasted all night long. I turn it off with the remote control most of the time if we aren't by the dock. No need to shorten the life of the LED bulbs and battery. Otherwise, you can keep it on Auto mode for the light to come on at dust and off at dawn or set it on 2 other modes. One for 3 or one for 5 hours and it will turn off automatically.

I don’t normally do reviews because most of the times other products are close enough to what they say they do, however, I had to write one for this. I took it out of the box and put it together, the bracket that holds the large solar panel is extremely flimsy, and I’m worried a strong wind like we get in Arkansas will have the panel bent over, but I can make a better one, the rigidness of the solar panel mounting holes are also weak and poor design, the pole that the light slides on has a clamp setup to bolt it or clamp it to something else like a wall or another pole, the material is so thin that bolting it to a pole as tight as I could with just a little force the material wood bend and cause it to be loose again, I can fix. The light, looks good and sturdy, mounted it to a 8’ pole and let charge for 2 days, used the remote (had to get 5’ from light) and set to auto, the light showed full charge but as an retire electrician if it put out 40 watts id be surprised, I set it to 5, meaning bright for 5 hours, I got up at 4am and it was off. I can’t recommend this even if it was $50 but at $150 I defiantly got ripped off. Don’t buy this product!
