Looks quite flat and is very heavy, but don't let the looks fool you. First time in over 12 years of excruciating neck pain, that I had decided I would just have to live with. I'm absolutely pain free. I cannot believe it. I can now throw out the collection of expensive assorted pillows. I did have a few hesitations, most notably, that I am a side sleepers and sometimes like to put my arm under the pillow. I thought this would not work, but much to my surprise, I was able to achieve this . The pillow is sort of like laying on wet sand. It's firm, but at the same time forgiving. I realize that pillows are a very personal experience, but for me to get almost total relief from pain that I had accepted for numerous years is just awesome. The pillow is made by a German company and is manufactured in Italy.

First, we have never spent this much on a pillow before. But we were at a furniture store and my husband tried a Technogel Contour Pillow out and really liked it. I wasn't ready to spend another $200 on a pillow for myself because I've lived 60+ years without having to spend that much on a pillow. However, I tried his for a few nights and was surprised with how comfortable it was. We now own 4 - 2 for home and 2 for a vacation condo. Why? I like it when I wake up in the morning and my head is still on the pillow! There is no pulling and tugging on it at night to get it into a new position when I move. It is so heavy that it just stays put. My head and neck stay in the contour shape, even after I've turned over. The temperature remains comfortable (as in I don't even think about it being too hot or too cool). It is just remarkably comfortable. We've tried memory foam and those stuffed with irregular foam shapes but none have been nicer than the Technogel pillows.

The pillow provides a cooling effect as long as you do not put another pillowcase on top of it, but this just did not work for my neck. The design is very odd. Maybe it will work for someone less picky.

I’ll be returning it. The “cooling effect” seems to dissipate within the first few minutes of my hot flashes. And then I find myself wrestling with a heavy room temperature pillow so much so that I’m awakened by my effort to find relief, to no avail. I’ve purchased pillows for under $50 and gotten better results. So I’ve given it 3 nights with this $200 pillow…that’s enough.

comfortable. doesn’t sink down and collapse overnight. came well packaged, no smells. good neck support— my neck is no longer sore. I sleep on both my back and side, and I find this comfortable for both sleep positions. it did take a few nights to get used to the new pillow and “break it in”

Works but very different feel and shap from the old one I have.

I love this pillow! After my dog ate all of my pillows that worked for my neck problems, I didn’t think I’d ever find another good pillow. Though the pillow doesn’t remain cool when sleeping ( the memory foam gets hot) it makes up for it with support and comfort. I have never been able to sleep on my back due to pain but now I am able to lay on my back without excruciating pain. The pillow is expensive but you can’t put a price on something that helps you to sleep. I will now only buy Technogel pillows. Thank you Technogel and Amazon for giving me my life back!
