Great. 1:7 with water for soup. Very concentrated. Yummy.

Delightful earthy rich flavor enhances soups and sauces. A tablespoon is enough for a full pot of soup without overwhelming the other flavors.

I used it last night with salmon, udon noodles and roasted bell peppers. The flavor is excellent and I can have a ratio of 1:3, 1:4, 1:2 if necessary. So cooking with the Anyday Dishes in the Microwave Oven and the Air Fryer I had a mean in 7 minutes with perfect texture and flavour. I will buy again. My ratio was 1 oz sauce to 3 oz of water. For those that have a measuring jar 1 @ 4 oz salmon, 1 cubed/sliced red bell pepper roasted, 1.5 Cups of chicken broth plus 1 oz of the Japanese Soup Base seasoned to taste. YUM.

Really delicious. It is a bit expensive, but tastes good, on lots of dishes. I like to mix with my natto fermented soy beans.

This sauce is concentrated and can be diluted with water to make a delicious soup stock for Oden, Soba, sukiyaki and so many other dishes! It’s used in many Japanese recipes to create the best authentic umami tasting dishes that you’ll eat outside of a traditional Japanese restaurant. I know what I’m talking about because my mom’s Japanese and I was born in Japan. I thank Amazon for carrying these products for us who crave Japanese and other Asian food flavors.

Absolutely delicious. Great size. Its concentrate so you add water of stock. I use his for cold Somen and it is one of my favorite things on a hot day. Great savory flavor with notes of ginger and soy then a sweet song dances across your tounge only to finish with an amazing umami flavor. The only thing I seen to complain about is someone said it does not contain MSG. It clearly states on the bottle ingredient list that I recieved that it DOES indeed contain MSG. for me that is not a deal breaker, but others might find that more important. If you don't mind I advise buy!

I diluted it, as suggested, and made a bowl of soba soup noodles. I did not care for it at all, because it was far too sweet for me. All I could taste was sugar and soy sauce, and I failed to find the stock (bonito flakes and konbu) coming through. Probably good for making Beef Donburi, Sukiyaki, or Traditional Japanese Omelette.
