As a long-time fan of their detailing products, Koch Chemie comes through again with their incredible wheel cleaner! This product truly is magic. I have notoriously stubborn wheels with a complex design and lots of annoying nooks and crannies that trap dirt, grime, and heavy brake dust. Most cleaners require heavy scrubbing, but this Koch Chemie formula makes the job simple. You literally simply spray it in and watch it work. The cleaner does an amazing job of dissolving all the built-up gunk. It effectively gets rid of deeply set dirt, grime, and brake dust with minimal effort.

This stuff is expensive for what it is, but after using it once, I think I'm going to be keeping it stocked. Significantly reduces the work for what I consider to be the worst part of washing my car - getting the wheels clean. When I use this stuff - assuming I give it time to do it's job, I can usually get away with no wheel scrubbing at all - or if I do it's just here and there vs fully scrubbing every wheel. Probably saves me 15-20 min every time I wash my car.

Best brake and wheel cleaner on the market.

My car puts out clouds of brake dust and I have tried about every wheel cleaner out there and NOTHING compares to MWC. Spray on a dry wheel, leave for a few minutes and rinse well. I used my garden nozzle on jet stream. After that dry wheel and done. It is pricey but for me it’s worth the extra money for a product that works as advertised! The most common negative comments on product are cost and smell. You can save a bunch bunch but buying a the bulk size and just refilling your spray bottle. It saves about $7 per bottle. As for smell—yep it is harsh. Something like rotten eggs meets industrial cleaner and it isn’t pleasant. But for how well this product works, it’s worth having to tolerate the smell.

This wheel cleaner works great! The wheels on my wife's Cayenne were super gross and covered in brake dust and this cleaner just melted it all away. The inner wheel was especially gross and it came out beautiful. The smell isn't the best but it's less harsh than other wheel cleaners I've used. The bottle is a bit small for the price so I won't use this every wash but I'll save it for the really bad and caked on messes like this one when I need the extra help.

I have tried just about all of the top brand wheel cleaners and this works as well as any of the top brands. It came packaged well which helps ensure that it doesn’t leak during transit. It was inside a resealable bag and the cap of the bottle was held in place by a really strong super sticky sticker called “the gripper”. KochChemie claims it is acid free. It has a chemical reaction with iron particles which will turn the solution red on contact. It has a viscous nature which helps it adhere to where you spray it versus running off like many cleaners tend to do. It claims to be gently on delicate finishes, yet it possesses powerful cleaning capabilities. I used it to clean my German car wheels, which as many know tend to end up with excessive brake dust due to the brake pad compounds. They cleaned up beautifully. I would give this 5 stars but it smells absolutely horrible. It smells just like Sonax wheel cleaner. I believe it’s the chemical that removes iron that causes it to smell so pungent. It’s one of those smells that just sticks in your nose even when outside, so you might want to put on a mask if the smell irritates you like it does me. I often dilute wheel cleaners 2 to 1 with distilled water since I clean my wheels often and do not need the full strength cleaning power. The bottle is quite small (16.9 oz.) so you can stretch its use this way as well. All in all a solid choice for your wheel cleaning and detailing needs from a trusted professional level line of cleaning products.

Great product but chemically powerful. Use protective eyewear and gloves.

A friend recommended and I haven't looked back. It tackles break dust like a champ.

I was surprised how it helped to remove yellowing from my silver alloys. It's not coming back even after 2 years. Easy to use, really does magic!

Like other’s have said, it’s expensive, but it works. You can use a regular house hose water, but this would work better with a safe pressure washer. I’ve tried both scrubbing and not scrubbing… The scrubbing works better for those tough grimes on the inner surface of the rims, but at a surface level, it really does just slime away the grease and brake dust left on the outer rims

Works incredibly well on rims. No need to even scrub or wipe. The dirt and grime literally drip off. Easy as rinsing it off after a few minutes. The only thing I don’t like is the horrendous smell. It’s strong. I wouldn’t use it inside a garage or you’ll be eating it for lunch. Works great though!

Like their polish that I have used his is another great product. Simple to use with great results.
