Best Almond Flour out there, tried and true
I love to bake! In my attempts to become more healthy and consume less wheat and white flours, I've switched to almond flour for many of my recipes. I first got turned onto the Honeyville brand by a famous Paleo chef who highly recommended it due to it's fine grind and close comparison to pastry flour. It's true! I've tried several other brands of almond flour and almond/coconut blends, and none come close to performing as well as Honeyville. My cakes and breads turn out with a texture similar to those baked with regular flour. The taste is delicious and there's no grainy feel in my mouth. I use it to bread chicken tenders and the kids can't even tell the difference. I usually freeze about half the bag if I'm not using it regularly, and it comes out of the freezer fresh and good as new! I find that it lasts in my cupboard way longer than other flours as well. If you're a baker like me, you can't go wrong with Honeyville. It's the best!

Oh, the cookies!
I love this flour. I eliminated wheat from my diet almost a year ago, and that has only been possible because of almond flour. While I do like Anthony's, the Honeyville is by far the finest grind I've found, and for some recipes (mainly cookies, cheesecake crusts - more delicate foods) it's the best substitute for regular flour. Macarons are out of this world, and the donuts bake up pretty nicely, too. I'm in the middle of baking a batch of chocolate chip cookies at the moment - paleo, believe it or not - and like yesterday's batch, they'll be gone before tomorrow. This is a recurring order, much cheaper than available in store, and in larger sizes, which is important since it's all I use!

Nice FINE almond flour
I read other comments on low carb groups about how great this almond flour is with its fine grind so I had to give it a try. Unfortunately, I had to finish up my current supply so I just now have started using this. WOW! The milling of this is nice and fine! No, it still can't compete with (toxic) wheat flour for light fluffy breads, but it IS better than the more coarse almond flours out there. My first loaf using it was noticeably better than what I had been using and both my husband and son noticed the difference. My husband even asked if I had found a new and better recipe. It is a little more expensive than some other almond flours, but I feel the price is worth it! Previous bread didn't get eaten up before its suggested lifespan. Now my bread is going fast. (Hmm...maybe that is a negative. More work for me baking more bread. LOL). Today I am going to try to make hamburger buns with it. The guys miss eating burgers "the right way". 😉 I am happy to recommend this almond flour to anyone who is cutting out grains for whatever reason. It has been a real bonus item for us on our Wheat Belly lifestyle.

Favorite almond flour!
I use a lot of almond flour and coconut flour these days due to a gluten sensitivity. My daughter is also sensitive but can have more carbs than I. I love the almond flour because it's a low carb flour. I tried other, local brands at first and made do - I wasn't too impressed. Then swine mentioned Honeyville and I ordered some. Wow! It is definitely superior to others I've tried. Others smell...stale, or dull. Honeyville smells fresh and yummy! It's expensive, so I'm doing without other things so I can afford to have this in my pantry for baking. I'm weaning my family off of sugar so that will mean less processed sweets, which will free up more of the grocery budget. This flour makes delicious baked goods and desserts! It makes a great crumb crust for cheesecake with some butter and xylitol or erythritol mixed in. I will certainly continue to buy this brand!

This flour is ground fine enough for baking and it tastes great.
I usually buy organic but it is hard to find organic almond flour and organic companies offering almond flour processes it with unblanched almonds. I thought perhaps leaving the hull on the nut would affect the baking qualities of the flour, that it might not be fine enough to actually stick together even with egg. Many reviewers of those few flours indicated that was the case. Just about every reviewer mentioned liking Honeyville Blanched Almond Flour and claimed it was far superior to other almond flours. So even if it wasn't organic I bought a bag. On the bag it proclaims that they are proud to use Blue Diamond Almonds. I'm not confident in the quality of many big company foods so I wasn't that impressed with this claim. Regardless, I have to admit the batch of cookies I made turned out well so the flour works and I'll use it, although slowly. It wouldn't be fair to mark the flour down because the supplier of the almonds probably sprays too many chemicals or that it isn't organic since I knew it wasn't organic when I bought it. I'm rating it 4 stars. It works, it tastes good and most bakers would like it. I can't compare it to other almond flours yet since this is my first try. However, should I find something I like better, I'll update this review.

AWESOME!
Yes...it's expensive...but it's amazing! This is Super Fine Almond Flour. There is a huge difference in appearance. For example, cookies...you will not be able to visually tell that you used THIS almond flour for your cookies because they will look like a regular cookie. They will also taste amazing without the added flour carbs! If you use regular almond flour, it is usually not finely ground, so your cookies will appear with tiny round balls--as if the almond flour was clumped an not able to absorb. This will not happen if you use this product. I cannot have flour cookies any more and I was searching for a way to continued my love for cookies...and this is it. Yes, it's totally expensive, but I don't make cookies every day. I also used this in my potato soup reciepe instead of flour and it's perfect. You can not taste the difference. Things taste BETTER with this almond flour.
