What are the actual dimensions? It says it's less than 3 inches by 3 inches but that can't be right! Can someone measure it?

I just measured it and its 7inches high including the base and 8 inches wide including the handle. It works for me.

Has anyone had any trouble with the level window being plastic? Seems odd for boiling water.

No, I have not, I used it every day most likely 3-4 times, the plastic with the number just tell you the amount of water, nothing to worry about.

Does this kettle sit solid on its base, or is it loose, unstable or wobbly? Little kettles don't seem to fit together as nicely as the big ones.

Granted, it's not a $140 Breville kettle, this little kettle fits as snug and straight on its base as long as the counter it sits on is straight and flat.
