Came with the lid broken but the candle itself was fine and smelled amazing. EDIT: I was messaged by the seller after leaving this review with an apology and an offer of a replacement! I am so pleased with this seller I have amended my review to reflect this amazing level of customer support! Also the new candle scent is Gardenia Bloom and it's so good!

I got this for my mom for Mother’s Day and she absolutely loves it! The jar is so pretty and the first thing she said was how beautiful it was. It smells so good as well. It’s not super strong and doesn’t overwhelm the room, it’s just the perfect size for her desk area. Gardenia is her favorite and I’ve gotten other gardenia-scented things that smell too perfume-y, more generally flowery instead of specifically gardenia, too sweet, or just otherwise off. She said this was perfect. I was disappointed to see it had started tunneling a bit, but that’s an easy fix and not a serious issue for me at all. I will definitely be buying more of these in the future!

Edit: I received a replacement from the seller. It arrived in pristine condition. I was very, very happy to receive the replacement and I was impressed with the seller’s handling of my initial experience. I would now change my recommendation of this as a gift and say that it would make a beautiful, elegant gift. ~ The scent is reminiscent (IMO) of what other manufacturers might call “fresh/crisp linen”. It is not terribly strong but enough to fill a medium sized room with a subtle aroma. The box came torn along one of the corners, and the handle on the jar-lid came bent to one side; so for those reasons it would not have been gift-able. I bought it for use in my own home and I generally prefer quality of scent and wax, over aesthetic perfection, so that was not a major problem in my case. Three wicks. Long burn life. If you prefer a candle that will fill an entire apartment, or more than one small-medium room with fragrance, then this candle may not be for you.

The smell is lovely, the jar is beautiful, and when the candle is lit the glow it gives off is stunning. However, this candle only has one wick in it. As the candle burns, it won’t melt all of the wax, so it doesn't burn evenly. The wick is also very cheap. When I burn it down to the bottom, I’m going to refill it myself and place 2 wicks inside and it should be perfect! If you’re not planning on doing so, I wouldn’t recommend.

Most lovely, true and pure gardenia scented candle I’ve ever smelled. If you love gardenias this one’s for you. The only thing is, it almost smells stronger when not burning. I just leave it uncovered and enjoy the scent as I walk by burning or not.
