My Mom's new apartment just had Cat5 jacks in every room. And no telephone jacks or cable Jack's so we used these adaptador and. I was able to plug the cat5 line into the telephone jack on the back of modem and then used the another adaptadores to plug the phone into the cat5 line and every thing worked out great

I am giving this only 3 stars because it didn’t work for me. My apartment complex doesn’t have an Ethernet connection so I can’t use it. I am sure some one with the proper equipment will find this product perfect for their application.

Nice purchase, tho didn't fix the issue
We bought this as a stop-gap to allow us to use our fax with our existing CAT6. That didn't work, but not due to the connector itself. We found we didn't have phone service, so we paused the idea for now. They did work tho, testing showed data, just not leaving the house so... well done?

Telephone Line to Network Line Connection
I orderd this because I have a prewired house and needed to connect a plain old telephone (RJ11) to the wall port. I have telephone service through my ISP but the house has a central location for the router, and does not have "POTs" ports. So i got these connectors and cables. I connected the RJ11 (Plan old telephone Line) to the connector plugged it into the telephone port on the router, then the RJ45 Network cable to the other end of the connector. Then i plugged a short network cable to the wall port then into the connector, and then i plugged the phone cable into the other end of the connector. Tada!!! now i have phone service.....Works great, price is good and install was easy.
