I'm in the Midwest, and this hat will work fine during the cold months. It's warm, with a snug fit to help from blowing off. Its 35% wool, but not itchy. I and others think it's a unique, stylish, fun hat. That, is not easy to find in hats to wear during cold weather. It can go over the ears and big enough to be tilted slightly to cover the back of the neck. Not sure about how to wash though, (besides wiping the inside of the brim with a Handiwipe) because of the shape? Very satisfied and pleased with this purchase. I would also buy this style hat in a different colors, if available.

Soft and stylish

Very true to size. Totally retro style. I've never seen anyone wear this, never. Very original for one. Very warm and soft and covers your ears. With my long curly hair, my daughter says I look like Slash from Guns N Roses. Lol. It fits well, won't fly off if it's windy. Like I said, it's a different look than that I've never seen before on anyone. I dress out of the box and I have been told by quite a few people that I have a totally unique way of dressing. Very cool they say. Well, that's just how I rock and this hat will fit my style. I am pleasantly surprised and happy with this purchase.
