Nutricost L-Lysine Powder - Pure L-Lysine, Non-Gmo, Gluten Free

I have a kitty that has the herpes. Poor kitty. She suffered terribly. I used to crush pills or empty capsules of the powder into her food. You do what you have to do for your family. I had to get more lysine so I jumped on Amazon and started scrolling. This is what I landed on and I’m very pleased I did. The price was great for the amount that’s inside and it’s lasted quite some time. I put some in my tea and juice and can detect no unpleasant flavor so I was able to up kitty’s dose to an amount that has effectively reduced her symptoms to almost undetectable (Knock wood). I will buy this again, someday, when it runs out.

I get cold sores frequently so I always need to have some of this around. I keep some in a little 4 oz jar with the scoop attached so I don't have to open the container all the time (I'm in Florida so humidity is an issue with these things). I just refilled my little jar and realized that I still have a ton left and I've had it for a little over a year.I mix a scoop or two in about 2 oz of water and just chug it down. It doesn't taste great, but it's easier than taking those giant tablets. You really can't beat the price.

This is a fine powder. There was a drying agent package so there was no clumping of the product. It comes with a scoop. The powder dissolves instantly when water is poured over it. It has just a mildly unpleasant taste. I’m not sure I’d like to mix it with my coffee. Juice or smoothie or soup would be fine.
