2021 Samsung Galaxy Z Flip3 5G, 128GB, Cream (Renewed)

Bought the phone less than a year ago, looked great when it arrived. Seems really good at first, then noticed it get hot during use. Also battery dies very quickly. I have tried to ask Amazon for help but just sent in circles.

Four months passed ever since I have bought the phone and I feel ready for a review. I bought a refurbished phone but I am not still able to distinguish if it was new or refurbished. The phone was perfect, on everything, apart from the box. The delivery was on time and I honestly didn't have any issues with anything. The phone as such has three downsides that could be a little annoying 1) Screen protector creates bubbles every 2 months. It is pretty normal with the flip but it can be a bit expensive to replace every time. Roughly 30 pounds in a shop or 15 if you buy it online (quite difficult to replace though) 2) Battery lasts no more than 6-8 hours. Unfortunately, the charge is very slow 3) The camera is basic in comparison with plenty of new models. Pictures are not great in quality Apart from these downsides, it is a pretty decent phone. It opens the future for flip.. but it is just the beginning.

the phne was supposed to be unlocked but after part load setup it has locked up and I do not have the unlock code so having spent a lot of money buying it I have a real problem

Flip 3. Is it better than the 1 or 2 ; well, the front screen is much bigger but this comes with pros and cons. Pros - obvious if you actually use the front screen ( I tend, generally, not to ) and cons - well, I suppose it's more fragile ! But it's really about the flip. I run two phones - this model 3 and my old model 1. I carry both when abroad, the older one having a continental sim in it. It is easier for me to carry 2 flips than bricks . . . Which leads me on to, inevitably, why ? Because the phone takes only 1 physical sim ( and my network doesn't 'do' e-sims ). If only they found room for 2 sims . . . OK. 'my' network now does do e-sims. So the e-sim is the main one now with the French sim as #2. Works very well !

Not very often these days that I am lost for words regarding a purchase but this is one of those occasions. Let me start of with delivery.... On time and very well packaged. Great start. Having previously purchased a "renewed" phone recently only to discover it was awful, I was naturally apprehensive about trying again. As soon as I opened this package my fears were clearly unfounded. This phone was described as "excellent" and it was that and more. Despite going over the phone with a fine tooth comb I could not find one single mark anywhere on the device. It looks fantastic. The screen is perfect with no scratches or marks on the very soft screen. On top of all this they sent me a 256GB model instead of the 128GB for no extra charge. The phone is a US model so it benefits from the much better (and faster) Snapdragon 888 processor as opposed to the EU Exynos version. This also improves battery life. Very happy to recommend this seller/store and will definitely return in the future when I fancy (yet another) change.
