I can say I'm really happy. I was surprised to get an email from ...
I purchased this Remali action camera through my wife's Amazon account so I could take advantage of her Prime membership. So far after one day of playing with it, I can say I'm really happy. I was surprised to get an email from them reminding me to remove the protective plastic from the lenses. I had read the reviews on this item so I didn't really need it, but I understand why. I actually purchased this camera specifically to use on my new drone that I got for Christmas and with a little tweeking it fits perfectly into the camera gimbal mount. I've tested the cameras functionality and it does take great pictures and video. The only issues I have had with any of this great deal was one of the larger retaining straps the plastic locking tab in the buckle broke. Not a huge deal, as I will probably never use them anyway. Also, some of the joints included with this "extras package" can't be fully tightened and allow the camera to flop around. Perhaps some thin tightening shims would work well for this problem. In conclusion: pros: Good camera for a good price. Lots of great extras. 3 batteries. A double charging station. Great customer service. cons: The quality of the included extras could improve, "ever so slightly", without affecting the price. Still earns a five star rating from me, and I would purchase this product again.

Great little camera for adventures
I bought this camera to mount to a boat railing to capture fish assessment videos on an electrofishing boat and have gotten some great footage as well as pictures. I've even used it underwater for fish spawning pictures and videos in tanks. I'm excited to take it on my upcoming trip to South Africa and video anything from cage diving to safari tours and everything in between so I'll definitely update this review after my trip. This has been a great little camera and I'm already thinking about purchasing a second one for some of our other work boats.

(Not so) Great Product!!!
Honestly, I was quite skeptical when purchasing this! The reviews were extremely mixed and I just wasn't sure. But I WAS NOT DISAPPOINTED (yes I was, check update below)!!! This camera did a great job for $100! I bought a chest and head strap and it just works perfect! I can't compare it to a GoPro because Ive never had one, but this is amazing. Plus you can literally see everything you are recording LIVE FROM YOUR PHONE! The handstrap is super smart but one thing i suggest is that you play with it to figure it because my camera was on, but in sleep mode, so instead of clicking it once, you have to click it twice. Due to that, i ended up not recording my shot today (I'm a hunter), but i know now! I'm using this for youtube so I might be ordering another soon! If it wasn't for the short battery life, I'd give it five, but they give you three so that's that. Overall 4.3/5, amazing product. If I don't come back with an update, it's still working fine! ***UPDATE*** Well, well, well, I'm back. Returned the camera months ago because it kept dying every 30 minutes. As a hunter, I'm in the woods practically all day long and I missed so many moments that could have been recorded because the camera kept dying. Yes it comes with three but even with them all added up, that'll only give you less than 2 hours of battery life. It sucks.

Great deal overall
I purchased one of these to mount on our side by side to hopefully (was skeptical at the price) record some of our outings. After a couple of tests I'm pretty impressed with this kit. There wasn't a mount that was "made" for how I intended to install but was able to make what was included work. After driving around on a couple of different types of terrain I think this is going to do just fine, I'm not noticing where the mounts aren't allowing much give and seem to keep it very stable even during bumpy times. Others have mentioned how poor the battery life is but I am running it on the 1080P@60 setting and it seems that one battery lasted around 45 minutes or more. I recorded about an hour and a half of video on not even 2 batteries. I didn't even realize I'd left it running and noticed 20 minutes later it was still going. I plan on creating a continuous power supply for it though so not as big of an issue. Watching video on the app seems to buffer almost constantly and was jumpy which originally confirmed my suspicion for junk, but once I put the video on my laptop I actually am quite happy with this purchase. I've only really recorded with it in the clear waterproof case while riding which hinders the audio but I was still able to make out some of it. I cannot comment on the 2K or 4K quality but the 1080P setting seems okay. UPDATE: After less than 9 months, only 2 or so of actual use, one of the 3 batteries is no longer charging. Customer service sent information to purchase a set of replacement batteries that are about a 30% larger capacity than the originals. UPDATE2: I have been working with REMALI customer support over an issue with another model REMALI camera. I am very pleased with my decision to purchase REMALI instead of one of the other brands of this same style camera. It's very clear in speaking with them that they care about the business and their customers. Once this other issue gets fixed and stock becomes available, I'm already planning on purchasing a third REMALI (would be my second of this model). Sure there are things that could be better, but for the price, the camera and kit you get is well worth the money. If you need a more feature rich camera upgrade to their CapturePro.

I really want to like this camera, but...
I really want to like this camera. It records surprisingly high quality video for the price. Unfortunately, there's a couple of issues I cannot overlook. The first one isn't a terribly huge deal but it is very misleading. When recording in 1080p/60fps, it does technically record 60fps but every other frame is an exact copy of the previous. So really it's only recording 30fps and then duplicating each frame to make it appear as though it's recording 60fps. That actually yields a more low quality, choppy video than just recording at 30fps. It's rare where I'd prefer 60fps over recording in 2.7/4k, though, so it's something which doesn't affect my recording style much but it's so misleading that I have to mention it here. The bigger issue is that, despite using a class 10/U3 SD card, frames go missing when the camera must roll over to a new file due to hitting the 4GB file size limit. In 2.7k, it's only a handful of frames and, so far, I've been able to work around the issue in post. But in 4k, at least one full second worth of frames goes missing between each file. As such, I cannot rely on this camera to record 4k video where it's critical that (close to) every frame be captured. The missing frames issue is a real shame as, without it, this camera would be as close to perfect one could expect for the price. But since it's such a critical issue which may make this camera unusable depending on your recording style, I regrettably have to subtract some stars. Update: I've been using this camera for a few months now. My primary is a Panasonic G7 while this camera is a (granted, just as important) secondary. Up till recently, I've been able to work around the missing frames issue in post. The last video I recorded, though, important shots were left with missing frames and I had to cut out shots I would have preferred to leave in. As such, I'm coughing up the extra few hundred bucks to get a true GoPro which I know I can rely on. That said, I still want to like this camera and I'm not planning to get rid of it. It's just that it will be relegated to shooting B roll where missing frames won't make or break a video.

Great customer service. Camera is great for the price.
I bought this camera for my trip to Japan. I had planned on getting some footage of me riding around the city. However, 10 mins into recording the camera turned off and wouldn't turn back on. After getting in touch with customer service they were informed me that I was using the wrong type of microSD card and that that was probably why the camera was malfunctioning. They were then able to send me a second camera by mail at no charge to me. I've been using the camera with the recommended microSD card for the past week and it works perfectly. Easy to use and very clear recording. The only downside is the battery life seems quite short. With a fully charged battery I was only able to record for about 40 minutes. Thankfully it comes with 3 different batteries so for times where I need to record for longer periods of time I can just swap out the batteries and continue. Overall I am very pleased with the customer service and how good the camera is for the price.
