Anything bought straight from DMC is legit what you pay for Great Quality and durable Tools.

Amazing
Having worked in the military and aviation with a major airline a perfect crimp is important. This is the only tool I trust. You can get a cheaper brand, but it can cause resistance and premature failure of components.

Does not work smoothly
The crip tool does not squeeze smoothly and makes a weird sound. Also it gets stuck sometimes and does not spring back after the crimp tool has been squeeze to the end.
