Chantecaille Future Skin - Vanilla Foundation Women 1 oz

This foundation is beautiful. I would say light to medium coverage if you build it up. I am 69 and live in a very cold area, my skin is on the dry side, this foundation is a treat for my face. I use my fingers to blend in after sunscreen and a primer. Yes it is expensive but you use only a small amount. The sheer coverage is just the ticket. Looks so natural, I'm fair tone and the vanilla shade is just the right amount of warm without turning orange. Received my purchase in perfect condition. I will definitely purchase again.

I LOVE this foundation. I use a make-up sponge so the the product stay clean in the jar. I scoop a small bit out with the new sponge and dot it around my face, thespian it around using a blotting motion. It cover nicely when you add layers, but I generally like the more transparent look of one light layer.IF I need a bit more,I prefer to use a tip to get the product out of the jar and onto the sponge. "Double dipping" contaminates any make up, cream, etc.in a jar.

I saw that an esthetician I follow online uses this product exclusively so I wanted to try it. I *like* it but it’s not and won’t be my go to foundation. Coverage is medium, it goes on pretty evenly but takes a little more effort when using a foundation brush because it is obviously a thinner formula than many foundations in a bottle. The girl I follow has incredible glowing skin, I didn’t achieve the same result but it definitely isn’t anything bad, just pricey for what you get.

Have been using Chanticaille Future Skin for years. Lightweight with SPF coverage that’s organic and good for your skin.

The coverage is great with a sponge. I can barely see my sun spots.

I like this product. It is not full coverage but you can build on it. I think because it is light it looks more natural.

I really wanted to like his foundation, but even though I love the gel like consistency, every shade I have tried has an orange tint to it making me look like I just walked out of 1990 wearing my Covergirl drug store foundation.

I ordered this from BeautyHabit, who included not only a thank you note, but also samples- I've attached pictures, and I could not be more happy with the service. Unfortunately, the product itself is severely lacking. This would have been a one star review for me, had the seller not gone so far above and beyond – the extra star is a reflection on the lovely seller, and not the actual product. This foundation not only made my skin flake and break out (with just a single use), but it also provided absolutely zero coverage. Everyone's skin is different, and I can accept that maybe my face just doesn't tolerate the ingredients in this. Unfortunately, however, for a foundation that claims to provide "buildable, medium to full coverage", I found it to be severely lacking. If you are looking for medium to full coverage (such as Tarte's Amazonian Clay foundation- now THAT's full coverage), then this is not the foundation for you. I applied two very generous layers of it, and I have BB creams that provide more coverage in a single layer than two layers of this product did. To say I was disappointed would be putting it mildly. Like a lot of other people, I found this product on a lot of Top 10 lists for moisturizing foundations. Most frequently, this product and one by Cover Girl were very near the top of the list – I have tried both of them, and I can say that the Cover Girl product is heads and shoulders above this one, for both moisture and coverage... as well as being a small fraction of the price. I'll attach a photo of the Cover Girl product, and hopefully spare someone the $75 mistake that I made.
