accidentally ordered gold instead of orange, but other than my mistake, this stem works great, needed to shorten from my factory stem, to change my positioning a little bit.. This did exactly that!! I'll eventually order the right color and swap it out, but this thing handled the freeride park at local mtb trails.. finish is top notch, and looks great!!

Machining looks great, contact points around, and clamp edges were perfectly aligned. The stem is replacing a 50 mm stock stem on an ibis Ripley AF. It weighs in at 121.4 g saving 20 g of weight over the stock stem. Stem height measures ~38 mm, so if your stock stem is taller (the Ibis stem is 42 mm), you may need to replace the 5 mm spacer on top with a 10 mm spacer in order to have enough clearance for a headset bearing preload on the top cap. If you’ve never replaced a stem before, note the bolt tension order. This one requires no gap on the top, and a gap on the bottom. The instructions are literally printed right on the stem. Always use a toque wrench.

I purchased the 35mm and the 50mm intending to use both (for different types of riding). Unfortunately the 50mm seemed to be milled off somehow as it simply would NOT fit on my steerer tube. I've never seen this before, but the return of the product was accepted just fine. I kept the 35mm as it fit (I also purchased the matching handle bar). The 35mm stem has proven to be excellent and has actually ended up being fine (lengthwise) for just about everything. I did go with a much wider bar than I was running previously which is why I suspect the 35mm length ended up working out well. I've no complaints on the 35mm stem at all and have recommend it to several riding buddies as a practical alternative to some of the more known brands. The Fifty-Fifty 35mm stem looks great (pair it with the matching bar for a package look), works great, and is priced reasonably. Hard to go wrong. I ride 3-4 times a week (everything from traditional cross country to very rough rock/root infested trails of Pisgah) and have been using this for several months.

I am really starting to like the quality and value of Fifty-fifty. Stem seams very well made with good fit and finish as with everything I have gotten so far. Added it to my son's bike to improve position and handling. Made it through the first day on the pump track with a breeze. Handled great and son loves the way it looks!

Fifty-Fifty products are great. They fit how they are supposed to, and are reasonably priced

Sexy, strong and light!! But be aware, if you don’t install properly you can break it. Like people in reviews have complained about you can snap things while bolting on. But if you read your stem and follow the tightening instructions and use the correct force with the correct tool your good
