Very Well Made Easy to Handle And Use
Ordered one, to see quality, wish I had ordered two. Very good quality, works well for zucchini squash! I like the smooth tip and edges opposed to the serrated edge and sharp tip! I also like the smooth stainless steel blade, nice size as the longer blades require a cutting grip at the palm of the hand for smaller vegetables. Very nice quality and size of the wooden handle for firm grip! Wish they would come back in stock, would order more.

It worked great on the zucchini
It worked great on the zucchini, and because the cucumber was pretty large, we sort of scooped a bit. The end results were great. We used the corer to make apple "rods for a salad. Easy! The fun part was the left over apple when cored was also used as a faux lotus root. You can also use on potatoes, (again for French Fried rods, and faux lotus root fries) We tried it on "pumpkin" (squash) too.). It's too bad it doesn't come in other diameters to use on some larger fruits and vegetables..

Not worth it
It’s not the best quality. It has started to bend while trying to core Mexican squash. You have to rebend it straight constantly. Also the base where the metal meets the wood is darkening even with hands drying. For the amount paid for this item, it’s cheap

Pretty vital for kousa
I was making kousa (stuffed zucchini) for a Middle Eastern dinner party and needed to hollow out the zucchini. Even though I knew I might never need to core a zucchini again, I'm very glad I bought this because I don't know how I would have gotten the job done without it.

Rimandato indietro perchè avevo necessità di un utensile più largo, questo è sottile, ma ha il manico in legno ed è robusto.

Nicely made bit of kit which I never knew I would need. Useful for coring long vegetables or fruit; I've used mind on cucumbers, courgettes, aubergines. Nicely made, stainless steel with a good wooden handle. I dishwash mine, probably not strictly advisable and, like all wooden tools, it does bleach the handle.
