Love this safety squat bar!! OMG it’s a game changer. I’ve had shoulder surgery on both shoulders and trying to do squats hurt my shoulders worse than my legs due my lack of flexibility in both my shoulders. I was on the fence about this bar but I finally decided to give it a try. I’m so glad I did!! I’m back to training legs and this bar works great. A little pricey for my personal budget but I’m glad I bought it. You get what you pay for and this is high quality!!

This is a very well made safety squat bar. Rock solid construction comparable to other brands that cost twice as much. It is a great training aid to build the legs, back and core.

If you need a better, safer and more comfortable bar to squat with…this is it. It has perfect spacing between the shoulder pads (I’m 6’2” 240lbs) the pads are quality and so is the bar…the bar is heavy at 61lbs, instead of the normal 45lbs you get with the average 7 foot Olympic bar. There ARE cheaper options, but if you read the reviews for the other bars you’ll learn why they cost less…they are inferior. I bought this type of bar because I have issues with one of my shoulders and not only does holding the bar cause discomfort but it can become a safety issue with racking properly when my set is done. This was causing me to use less weight, and nobody wants less weight.

The padding is a little less sturdy than I expected. I don't think it will last long with my type of workout. It is home workout grade not commercial grade.

Due to some previous health issues squatting with a standard barbell was not possible. I really wanted to add weighted squats to my workout and this safety bar allows that. I’ve increased my squats significantly since getting this piece of equipment. Never thought I’d be able to do squats with the weight I’m pushing now and I know that I haven’t maxed out the weight. The bar is well made and the padding is considerable. I would recommend getting clamps as the metal is quite smooth and slick. If you are looking for a safety squat bar I recommend this one.

This is awesome. Solid. Quality. And allows me to use my hands for balance when I reverse lunge with these, and they help with good Mornings too. Really happy
