Great protection for your bike
This bag did a phenomenal job at transporting my bike during my first travel trip with my own mountain bike. The level of quality in the material and the protection it provided is second to none. I recommend this bag to anyone interested in a lightweight travel bag?

Great protection
Lightweight and sturdy. Protected my 29 inch wheel full suspension trail bike on several flights. The removable front wheel makes it so easy to wheel around the airport. A definite 5 however I wish the stiffeners could be easily removed so I could collapse it for easy storage.

Great product sold by a great team
The bag is top class and really well designed. It's ability to protect my bike is reassuring. The more important part is that the vendor (Sports by Sager Inc.) was really supportive and reactive to an issue I had. When I unboxed it, there were 2 missing plastic rods that support the case. This box was brand new and shipped from factory, this was not a used item, so it is something that must have happened when it was packaged at the factory. I told them what I needed and within a day they responded with a tracking number for the missing items. No harm done, excellent customer service, would 100% buy from them again.

Expensive, but worth it!
I bought a large dual suspension mtb and had it shipped to Denver. I bought the Evoc travel bag because some friends recommended it. It was a little tight for my YT Capra Mx Core 3, but it fit and was well protected. I traveled with the bike from Denver to South America and it arrived intact. The front wheel is a savior and the bike was very well padded. Highly recommended.

The size you need depends. Evoc doesn't help. Needs more side padding in the front.
I will start by saying that I would not have bought this bag except that it is compliant with most airlines to fly as baggage at no extra cost. But the pictures show that there are compromises. The first picture shows how I had to mount my handlebars because of short hydraulic cables for the brakes. The second picture shows a side panel that I made out of corrugated plastic. The third picture shows most of the bike in its installed position. You could also make the extra side panel out of sturdy corrugated cardboard. This is a soft side bike bag that is well engineered but they did not go far enough on side protection. The front end ahead of the wheel storage does not any padding which is why I made the 2 side panels. The attachment system that uses rails is very sturdy and very useful for packing the bike. The instructions on the other hand are very poor. For example, there are fiberglass stays that slide into pockets in the front and in the back to give it some stiffness and help it stand. Nowhere does it say that they have to go all the way down into the hard plastic wheel mount in the rear and the hard plastic handle mount in the front. In actuality they have to go in there about 2 in. It's very difficult to do but you have to get it right or the bag won't be stiff enough on the two ends. They don't even mention that in the instructions. If you have a disc brake bicycle, the wheel pockets are great for protecting the discs. Depending on how much slack you have on the cables at the handle bar, you may need the 310 l size that I bought. In the attached picture note that my hydraulic cables are extremely short and I couldn't mount the handlebar in the normal up and down position, tie wrapped to the fork. Because of the position of the handlebar I had to mount the bike further back and therefore most of the orange velcro straps didn't fit where they were supposed to on the bike. These are extremely expensive bike bags. The materials are tough, but they left some things out that are inexcusable. Inexcusable. If you want to blow a grand, they make one that you can put a bike in without taking the handlebars off. To be totally honest, I've shipped bikes multiple times in homemade cardboard boxes. Boxes. If it wasn't for the fact that I'm shipping the bike internationally this time and needed an airline compliant bag that ships a baggage at no charge, I wouldn't have spent the money.

Excellent quality
This is an outstanding product. It is a bit cumbersome to set up for the first time; however, it is absolutely worth the investment if you are traveling more than a few times a year with your bike.

Works great!!
Exactly what I was hoping for. Excellent quality. Very sturdy. My bike is well protected. (Hint - take off the front wheel before checking it in at the airport! It's easy to take off - and if you dont, you'll lose the wheel. - happened to a friend- not me)

Front rotor bent twice - had to be replaced
I've had the Dakine bike bag for years and traveled with my road, gravel, and mtn bike without a single problem. I was really excited to get the EVOC bag because the wheels are so much easier to move the bag. I packed up my Yeti for a trip. Arrived and the rotor on the front wheel was bent and had to be replaced (luckily I found a shop that was open and could do the work so that I didn't miss my trip). I thought it was a one-off incident. I packed the bag again and went home. Now the front rotor is bent again and has to be replaced. The bike shop advised that I take the rotors off from now on when I pack the bike. But really, my confidence in this bag is low. EVOC does not say to take the rotors off. However, the rotor padding in the bag is very stiff and I'm curious if people have been having this problem. I'm very bummed because this was an expensive bag and now it's even more costly. I don't feel confident taking this bag on my next trip.
