NewRay Sky Pilot 1/60 Scale Model Helicopter 25593 - Sikorsky HH-60J Jayhawk

It is on display in the American Legion Post in Saugerties, N.Y. I was in the Coast Guard in the 1970'-80's and worked with the older Sikorsky helicopters. This one is on display for a female CG pilot who is a member of the Saugerties Post.

Broken inside the box as soon as I opened it

I flew on this aircraft and detail is amazing..its durable and beautiful very pleased..

Firstly I have to say this is not a toy. A lot of complaints are for this not holding up to a child playing with it. That’s not what it is built for. As a display it is plenty hardy and won’t break as it sits on a shelf in your office, man cave, she shed, etc.. My complaint is, as you can see in the picture, the Aft-RH tail cone CG emblem is………upside down. For any aviators out there, you know that this lack of attention to detail is unacceptable! Other than that I am happy with this as it is what I expected and brings back great memories of my time with this helicopter.

The stand isn't super solid but overall this thing is sick.

映画を観てこの救難ヘリが欲しかった。メーカーはNew-Ray Toys Co.,Ltd.のMADE IN CHINA。本体はダイキャストでパーツの一部はプラスチック製。箱では折りたたまれていたプロペラが実は開く仕掛けになっているのだが、開けたとたんにポロリ。さてどうしたものか、いきなり中華製を匂わす精度に納得するやらがっかりするやらとなる。また画像ではプロペラは銀色だが現物は黒、塗り忘れか、仕様違いか。もうプロペラを直してみるしかないと、ネジ止めを緩め本体を半分に割ってみた。中からスプリングと金属の細っこい棒がでてきた。多分これがプロペラを中心で支えている部品に違いない。そこで構造を確かめつつ、広げた時畳んだ時とで、軸がうまくかみ合うように削ったりして中華精度をなんとか日本精度にするること数時間、やっと機能するまでに仕上げた。その他の場所、操縦席の穴にもバリがあったり、本来開閉できるドアも固かったり、ウィンチも無理やりはめ込まれていて気の毒だったりと粗が目立っていたので、ヤスリをかけたりカッターで削ったりした後組み立てた。なんとその後、画像と塗装やデカールを比較してたら後部胴体にアメリカの空軍マークも貼られていない。操縦席部分は黒なのに現物は赤だし、ダイキャストの合わせ目も隙間が目立ち気になるし（近いうちに埋めよう）、でもそこそこ仕上げて台に乗せて飾ったら、やっぱり映画のシーンが蘇ってかっこいいヘリコプターだと思う。何ぶん人命救難ヘリってところがいいよ。
