Not for PROfessionals
So what does Pro stand for in Pro series? It can't be professional- maybe prolific? I say that because these are the THIRD pro series brand shoes I've had that let me down on the job. Whether its fabric eyelets for laces, or in this case poor stitching, the pro series name isn't what it was.I purchased these shoes Memorial day weekend, started on Tuesday with them and by Friday they had a hole in the side where the stitching had come apart.I'm rather disappointed, have had many pairs of Timberlands over the years as an electrician. PRO just isn't up to the job anymore

Looks really nice, sits well on the foot and is quite light and comfortable. Runs narrow, so order wide, or 1/2 size up.
Looks really nice, sits well on the foot and is quite light and comfy. Sole is bouncy and soft - almost feels like a running shoe. Almost. It does run a bit on a small/narrow side as my big toe was hitting the SIDE of the steel toe enclosure. Length was otherwise fine... I guess my toes expand out from the foot like a duck's foot, instead of straight like a square, or narrow like a triangle ... Also, the last latch for the lace is made of some kind of plastic... this is what ultimately I didn't like and returned it without trying a bigger size. It would not have added too much to the cost to make it out of some kind of steel. Bean counters must have won on this one...Thus, I did not end up keeping it in my size (10-1/2). Because of this 'narrowness' and the last lace latch, I did not go for a 1/2 size up or wide either, and have instead ordered a completely different type of a boot. Therefore, I can't judge how the bigger shoe would fit. That being said, if your toes are not the 'expanding' type, the shoe will probably fit you fine in your size and will look and feel like a regular hiking shoe. A nice shoe.

I am a contractor and only buy Timberland;they wear like iron. I was surprised that this particular model was little big. In the last five years I have purchased 6 to 7 pairs of the Pro series. I wear these shoes almost every day, and often for 12 hours, they are heavy, but that is what I want; I need tough shoes not sneakers. In previous reviews I have indicated how ridiculously poor the insoles are, they are paper thin and offer no support. I recommend that anyone buying this shoe or any other shoe purchase "super feet" insoles, it is the only way I could wear any shoe for 12 hours.

Were good a few years back, not now
Purchased two pairs in November 2016 as I have done every year for the last 4-5 years.Do a lot of mechanical work and constant moving on concrete floors. This purchase, the metal toe protector broke through top of one shoe within two months.Second pair top lace clips broke off within first two weeks. These us to be decent shoes. Will not purchase again.

2nd pair of these exact shoe and 3rd pair of this model
For me, the "steel toe" feature is a nice comfortable feeling of "safety". I bought the 2nd pair of these exact shoes because I was afraid that perhaps this specific model would be discontinued and I would rather have a second newer option than to find another shoe. This is a great versatile shoe, it's a very different feeling on your foot and gives me confidence that I can go anywhere except into prisons, especially with the steel toe inside.

Great shoe
I bought these for my husband for work. He is a distributor for a bread company. He is very rough on shoes. This is the first shoe I haven’t had to replace after 3 months. Every 6 months I do have to replace them. He wears out the inside of the shoe. The outside stays in tact. It’s usually the other way around. But these are by far his favorite. Unfortunately, Timberland quit carrying them so I was happy I found them on Amazon and for less.

Good shoe.
Great shoe, and I have had them before from a walk-in store, but unfortunately I wore them at work before I realized that the toe leather had a deep cut in it - otherwise I would have sent it back. The cut doesn't go all the way through but it is deep enough that it will most likely fail before the rest of the shoe. QC should have caught this. I did not care for the inserts, but I never do. I always replace them with aftermarket inserts as soon as I buy. I recommend this shoe, but inspect them closely before you wear them.

Other than that failure these shoes still look good but am buying more shoes today (not Timberland) to ...
These shoes are not as high quality as I expected from Timberland Pro. Purchased in September 2016 and not worn much until this spring. Only wore them on work days and the outside seam on the left shoe has split out. Other than that failure these shoes still look good but am buying more shoes today (not Timberland) to replace them. When they cost this much they should last much longer. I have Timberland Pro boots to wear on tough days and love them, 5 stars. These shoes were weak. Workmanship not good.

Saludos.
