Warms your head and gives light to see at night. Works very well.

It had no instructions on how to charge. Just shows a picture on the back of the light popping out with a plug in. After messing with it, using a flathead to pry up, which bent the plastic, i tried pinching the corner edge on the hat itself. Then pulling it away from the square light. I could lift it up and out while doing that. So yeah, hat fabric itself pulling outward, do not try just prying it. The realtree looks great, brightness seems better than the last watch battery panther vision, optional settings is a big plus. At the amazon warehouse "used" price (arrived looking new in packaging), it is a solid buy. Will purchase more in the future.

I really like how well built this hat is with the light system. My only complaint is the hat seems to be too large and there’s too much excess fabric on top of my head.

I live out in the sticks, and it gets very dark down the driveway, before the flood lights get triggered. Yesterday was the first cold day that I needed a hat. It was very warm and comfortable, then used the lamp to illuminate my walk to the house. It not only was bright, the area that it covered was impressive
