Saved us from a giant-sized mess
We initially started buying dog diapers because my husband's dog is not neutered and drips what we call "Zeus juice" everywhere and I just couldn't stand it after we moved in together. Zeus is a senior dog and has now also started having accidents every now and then, poor thing. :( He is a giant-sized dog, so when he has an accident, it is a giant-sized mess, and these diapers have saved us a lot of work on more than one occasion. They absorbed all of the pee with minimal leakage, thank goodness, and on an everyday basis, they prevent Zeus juice from being splattered all over everything. A few notes: Zeus has a size 36" waist when measured standing up, but it expands when he lies down, so I was worried the largest size would be too small. It fit perfectly *until* the diapers were washed and dried and then they shrunk just a little bit. (I think maybe the thread or the velcro is responsible for that.) They still fit, but I have to pay attention to leave them looser, which brings me to the next point. The elastic on the bottom has a tendency to irritate Zeus' privates if it's very snug. This means striking a balance between catching *all* possible leaks and the dog's comfort. To alleviate this, I velcro the diapers on a diagonal so they are tighter around the waist and looser by his hips and use some Aquaphor or coconut oil if I see any irritation. In case of pee accidents, wash the diapers as soon as possible or they will hold on to the smell. Drying the diapers takes kind of a long time (which speaks to how absorbent they are). And lastly, but not least, BUY A PAIR OF DOGGIE SUSPENDERS. It is totally worth the money. The diapers work great, but only if they stay on, and with Zeus' narrow hips, the diapers slip off over time, even though he's not actively trying to get them off. With the suspenders, the diapers stay in place, he stays comfortable and looks adorable - with the leopard print diapers, he looks like the king of the jungle!

If you need belly bands, pick these!
Let’s face it no one really wants to have to use these belly bands but if you have to these are an excellent choice. The animal print design is so darn cute. The Velcro on these is nice and wide so they stay on better than others Ive purchased previously! This product works great for my chihuahua. Definitely worth the money if you are in the market for belly bands. Easy to put on and take off. So far they have held up nicely after being washed several times!

Sizing issues but overall works well!
Bought these for my senior 5lb yorkie about a month after I got him. He was marking a lot inside and seemed unable to hold his pee for the 6 or so hours I was gone during the day. I got the small size at first, which was too big. (First and last pictures) He would often wiggle out of it at some point, even when I put it as tight as was comfortable. They did a good job of absorbing his urine, though - sometimes I could smell the wrap while searching for it after he pulled an escape act, meaning he peed a lot and it held it all before he wiggled out. Other times I'd have to do a sniff test to see if he had gone at all. I did tire of him not keeping it on, but instead of returning these I decided to keep them in case my 8lb senior pekachi might end up needing them. The x-small size is too small. I have to use the extra Velcro pieces to cover the exposed area, otherwise it gets stuck on whatever it first comes into contact with, and takes a little bit of effort to remove. Even so, I felt like it's a little too tight but he seemed comfortable enough and didn't protest. They work as well as the small size and I didn't have any issues with leaking. These are very easy to clean. Usually I'll do a quick wash in the sink on the day it's used, and then wash them all on the gentle cycle once a week (since he's got six of them) when there's one clean one left. I've put them in the dryer and air-dried and both methods work well. Overall I think these are great and do recommend, but for very small dogs the sizing may be tricky. **After a few months, my dog did start to show signs of discomfort and would shy away from me when I grabbed a wrap to put on him. Turns out his prostate is enlarged, and the wraps were putting uncomfortable pressure on his abdominal area. Just something to keep in mind if you're using these for your intact boy over 4years old and he starts to show discomfort or behave differently related to wearing these or other wraps!**

Great product for male dog urinary incontinence
My 15 year old German Wirehaired Pointer started having some urinary incontinence while he slept, and we would wake in the morning to puddles underneath him. These belly bands have really improved both is and our quality of life as we are not changing bedding every day and he stays dry and happy. The features that I like about these belly bands (and I have another two brands for comparison) is that they are nice and thick, so any urine that leaks out is captured and drawn away from his body. The outer shell keeps the moisture in, but is still decent to touch. The band has a good amount of velcro and elastic so it stays in place and is only removable by us (though Gus doesn't mind wearing it). Some of the other nice features include the patter--you would be surprised how easily the solid colored ones can disappear among all of the other laundry, but these patters stand out. The interior of the band is black in color, so you don't see urine stains. Also, the interior is all sewn together (unlike other brands), so there are no loose areas that are prone to unravelling in the wash. My only suggestion for washing and drying is to wash it while it is secured with the veclro and turned inside out. This allows for more effective drying.

Well Made and Durable
Used this brand for a 90lb dog over 19 month period. These are some of the best well made and good-sized ones. One of a few favorite brands of mine. I used pads inside and would recommend that so that the padding in the band is only a backup. The outside is a shiny pattern with good graphics. Velcro is strong but that’s what you want. Care in washing is important. First I washed as soon as possible. Packaging generally recommends washing these inside-out but I didn’t do that. I refastened Velcro perfectly and washed pattern side out. I used Lysol sanitizer and washed on warm but gentle cycle. Then I air fluffed them in dryer and then hung to dry. Drying took a while but was worth it. I highly recommend to keep them looking good.

THE BEST OF ALL
Leekalos Male Dog Diapers are the best of the four brands I have purchased. They are more generous in every way; thicker, wider, softer and very absorbent. And they seem more comfortable. They go in the washer and dryer just like any other laundry and come out like new. Any slinkiness can be fixed with hydrogen peroxide poured on before washing. My 10 lb, mean, little old man Min Pin lives with two other bigger dogs so is dedicated to furiously marking all surfaces. He soaks six diapers a day so I have to wash small loads of laundry too frequently. The lower quality, thinner, smaller diapers I bought recently are pretty useless and they seem uncomfortable. (I wish I could give them to someone for a smaller dog,) So, I am back to purchase two more sets of Leekalos Male Dog Diapers. Sincere thanks to reviewers who led me to these. UPDATE: I am buying more today. I should have named my little dog "Markie" instead of Mikey. I hate to have him wear the diaper when he goes outside. In good weather we leave the backdoor open to the fenced yard, with a curtain screen so they can have some freedom. My little old man needs to mark every corner he encounters going out and coming in. I made the hard choice to keep a diaper on him when the door is open. I don't like to, but I also don't like smelly hard to find sprinkles all over my home. I change the diapers often, so I need even more. These wash and dry very well. I use laundry sanitizer in the wash. UPDATE: These diapers have lasted well after a year of wear, machine washing and machine drying. I am buying more so I don't have to wash them so often. I don't like to wash small loads. I have learned to wash them with tide and lysol laundry sanitizer. I use the soak and second rinse cycles.

EXCELLENT Quality
I have an advanced senior chihuahua. He has become very sensitive about things in is later years. He is completely ok with me putting these on him. The Leekalos seem to be the best fit out of everything I have tried. They are super absorbent. They wash up easily, the velcro is secure and stay snug with out causing him discomfort. He is 10.2 inches around the waist so he is in the XS small size.
