The Corsair RM850x PSU only comes with 2 PCIe 6+2 to PSU Modular Cables, and the high end RTX GPUs require 3 (you are clearly instructed NOT to use the daisy-chained 2nd 6+2 connector on any of the PSU cables due to GPU power draw). So, to be in compliance you need a 3rd cable, and I was not going to risk it with a $1+ grand GPU. This cable is identical to the PCIe cables supplied with the RM850x PSU, both from a wiring / connector perspective, and aesthetics, as it uses a black braided cable cover just like the Corsair cables. So, it's perfect in every way. No installation or operational issues. And the price is perfect too!

Installed in a mid-size tower the harness length is about two inches shorter than desired. The split 4+4 end will also work for over-clocking the CPU. This is a well-made cable that works with the Corsair RM750X.

I run dual GPUs, and Needed an extra PCIE Gpu cable as I was using the pigtail / daisy chain cable with my RTX 3080 TI, and was concerned about the power delivery as I was exceeding for beyond the 150w limit of the single cable and I was missing the oem box where I know I had extra cables in there, but couldn't find the box so I found this version on Amazon and it works Perfectly. I've Even noticed a more consistent Frame rate with heavy loaded titles I play. Super happy.

The overall quality seems to be good, however it’s the length of cable that sticks off allowing you to plug into your GPU or your pcie riser. I’ve found myself 9/10 trying to make it work to the point of damn near messing something up which is a NO/GO! I’ve tried these on 1660,1660 super, P106, and 2060 Supers and they’ve all had the them same result which is slightly too short.

I have an Asus mobo thats got the extra 4 pin eps plug and needed a cable to connect to it from the psu. This was an easy way to do that. Braided, durable, and long enough, for this price? Yes.

Horrible Cable the worst have ever seen. The clip on one end is way bigger than any I have ever seen so it doesn't work on my configuration. Clip on other end brock first time I pressed one it. DO NOT BUY!!!

I somehow lost my bag of CORSAIR PSU cables for my HX750, and this helped me upgrade to an RTX 3060 back when i purchased it.

When adding a video card to my daughter's computer I couldn't find the original cable that came with the power supply. This was an exact fit and serves it's purpose. I of course found the missing cable days later.

This is not compatible with RMX series PSUs and will fry any drives it is connected to. Fire hazard, should not be being sold. Amazon need to do better. See pin difference in image.

Was compatible with my hx1000i. Only annoyance i ordered 2 6+2 and got 2 full 8 pin i was able to make it work in the end as I had 6+2 for my corsair link system. Been working fine on my build needed extra cables as I didnt want to risk using pig tails on a 9070xt overclock gpu from original 2 cables my psu came from. And they work

It is a PCIe cable, pretty generic 16AWG size wire so nothing special. It is however compatible with my Corsair RM850x Power Supply and the new Asus 9070XT card I just bought. This compatibility is sometimes a bit of a lottery which may cost one a fried PSU or video card. One would think such cables are standard but more often than not the PSU side connector is proprietary to the PSU brand and cause nasty surprises. I actually needed two of these cables along the one I already had. The Asus card requires 3 individual cables, but it packs none. Anyway these cables were exactly as advertised and worked perfectly.

Item did not work in any device. Not only that, it killed my rgb controller when i plugged it in. do not use in a modular psu
