Great little kits. For age 8 and up with adult help but kids 10+ could probably do alone. The kits have pretty clear instructions and they are fun to build. Below is an example of the holographic projector. One of the easier builds. Tip- hot glue will make building faster as it dries so much quicker.

I have 4 grandsons, the eldest 8 years old, so I bought several kits. I want to keep them off of screens when they're at our house. The eight year old and I constructed a motorized kit last weekend, so today, after school, we made the holographic projector. He's learning to follow instructions and to use care in these builds. Both have turned out beautifully, and he is gaining experience with each. We've done only two projects so far, but I'm pleased, and he's proud of his work.

Love these, got them for my granddaughter she is 8 and she loves them, still has them sitting out to play with. We did help her only because she gets bored sometimes when taking a little time but I believe she could have done it with minimal help by herself as long as you're there for assistance if needed. It comes with 6 items to be assembled and she enjoyed each one for a different reason. Great pack of fun for very little money, well worth it. All in all it's great fun for you and child or grandchild to spend time together making some awesome memories and items you can play with and learn interesting things about. We didn't encounter any missing parts, any little part you could accidentally drop and lose we always had extras in the packaging.

My 8 year old grandson and I had a lot of fun building these! We were able to put them all together and have them function as intended. I’m fairly impressed with these items. Our favorites are the levitating magnets and the one with the marbles.

Hours of educational fun

I bought the first Poraxy kit because before C-19, I used to bring my kids to Home Depot for the weekly kit build workshop, and felt these would be something similar. And it is, but so much more! Not only are the kits fun and engaging to build, but they teach basic science and engineering principles. The instructions are not well translated, so a little mental translation is in order, but that said I have thoroughly enjoyed doing these kits with my kids, who also thoroughly enjoy and look forward to the builds. Worth every penny!
